Palworld 1.0 Orserk Location: Where to Find It
Orserk is found inside the World Tree in Palworld 1.0, where it can appear during both the day and night. It no longer spawns at Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3, and the old Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus breeding shortcut has also been removed, leaving the World Tree as the only reliable place to obtain your first Orserk.

Why Orserk Is Missing From Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 was Orserk’s familiar habitat before the Palworld 1.0 progression changes, which is why so many older guides and videos still send players toward the northeastern edge of the map. Searching the sanctuary during different times of day will not fix the problem, however, because Orserk no longer belongs to that spawn pool.
The move is especially confusing on a fresh save because the old location was accessible much earlier than the World Tree. Players can reach the sanctuary, search every visible platform, and reasonably assume they have encountered bad spawn luck when the Pal has actually been moved into endgame content.
Orserk’s disappearance is also unrelated to the randomized systems used by certain other Pal categories. Its new habitat is fixed to the World Tree rather than rotating between Wildlife Sanctuaries or appearing through an unpredictable map event.
Where to Find Orserk in Palworld 1.0
Orserk now appears in the World Tree, the Level 80 endgame region introduced as a major destination in Palworld 1.0. It can be encountered as a normal wild spawn within the World Tree habitat rather than at one isolated Alpha boss marker.
Once you gain access, search through the World Tree areas where wild Pals are active and watch for Orserk’s large black-and-yellow frame and electrical effects. Because it is no longer tied to a single sanctuary platform, you may need to move through the region and allow the local population to refresh rather than standing in one exact spot.
There is no reason to return repeatedly to Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 after the update. If an older map, Pal database entry, or video points northeast of the main islands, it is describing the pre-1.0 location rather than Orserk’s current habitat.
How to Reach the World Tree
The World Tree is locked behind endgame progression. You must defeat all Tower Bosses and clear the additional boss required for World Tree access before you can properly enter the region and begin searching for Orserk.
This requirement makes Orserk substantially later than it was in earlier versions. You cannot rush directly to its habitat after unlocking a flying mount, and trying to approach the World Tree before completing the necessary progression will not provide a shortcut into the area.
Our Palworld World Tree entrance guide covers the access requirements and route once you are ready to move into the final region.
Prepare your equipment, party, ammunition, healing supplies, and environmental protection before making the trip. The World Tree is not merely a new island containing one desirable Pal; it is an endgame zone where the surrounding enemies can be as important to plan around as Orserk itself.
Does Orserk Spawn During the Day or Night?
Orserk can appear inside the World Tree during both daytime and nighttime. You do not need to wait for sunset or repeatedly rest until a specific spawn window begins.
If you reach the correct habitat and do not immediately see one, continue moving through the World Tree and check other active Pal groups. Clearing or leaving an area long enough for its spawns to refresh is more useful than changing the time of day.
This is another reason some returning players receive conflicting advice. Suggestions that Orserk is night-exclusive often come from attempts to explain why it no longer appears at the old sanctuary, but the missing spawn is caused by the location change rather than the in-game clock.
Can You Breed Orserk Before Reaching the World Tree?
The old Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus combination no longer produces Orserk in Palworld 1.0. Orserk now follows the same restricted breeding pattern used by several rare and endgame Pals, meaning the only direct breeding combination is Orserk and Orserk.
That creates an obvious limitation: breeding cannot provide your first Orserk because you already need two opposite-gender Orserks to begin the process. After catching a pair inside the World Tree, however, breeding becomes the preferred way to produce additional copies, inherit stronger passives, and improve IVs.
Orserk can also hatch from a Huge Dragon Egg, although this is not a reliable farming method because the same egg category can produce several different Dragon Pals. Finding one early may technically give you a chance, but there is no dependable route that guarantees Orserk before World Tree access.
Once you own a breeding pair, keep offspring with desirable combat or worker passives and gradually replace weaker parents. Same-species breeding guarantees that each completed breeding cycle remains focused on Orserk instead of sending you through another cross-species chain.
How to Prepare for Capturing Orserk
Orserk is an Electric and Dragon-type Pal, which gives it weaknesses to Ground and Ice attacks. Bring developed Pals from either element, but avoid relying on type advantage alone if they are significantly underleveled for the World Tree.
Ground attacks pressure Orserk’s Electric typing, while Ice attacks exploit its Dragon side. A mixed party gives you more flexibility if one Pal is defeated or struggles against other enemies encountered on the way to the spawn.
Use a Ring of Mercy or carefully control your final attacks once Orserk reaches low health. Its high Attack stat makes prolonged capture attempts dangerous, but dealing too much damage wastes the entire encounter and sends you looking for another spawn.
Bring a substantial supply of your strongest Pal Spheres before entering the World Tree. Orserk is not a Pal you want to lower successfully and then discover that the remaining spheres in your inventory were intended for creatures outside the starting area.
Its attacks include powerful Electric and Dragon skills such as Kerauno, Polykeraunos, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Strike, Dragon Breath, and Meteorain. Keep moving rather than standing beside your active Pal, since several of those attacks can cover a broad area or punish a player who remains committed to one firing position.
Why Orserk Is Worth Finding
Orserk remains one of the strongest Electric combat Pals in Palworld 1.0, with a base Attack stat of 130 and access to several high-powered Electric and Dragon attacks. It also has enough defensive strength to remain active during difficult fights instead of functioning only as a brief burst-damage option.
At the base, Orserk provides Level 4 Generating Electricity, Level 3 Transporting, and Level 2 Handiwork before further improvements. Electricity is its defining role, making it especially useful in developed production bases running several powered structures at once.
Its Ferocious Thunder Dragon Partner Skill also increases the amount of items dropped by defeated Water Pals while Orserk is active. The bonus begins at 40 percent and can reach 80 percent after fully improving the Partner Skill through condensation, giving Orserk another use when farming materials from aquatic targets.

Orserk’s Old and New Locations Explained
Before Palworld 1.0, players could search Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 for Orserk and use Grizzbolt with Relaxaurus to breed another one. Both routes are now outdated.
In the current version, your first reliable Orserk must come from the World Tree after completing the Tower Boss progression and the additional boss required to unlock the region. It spawns during both the day and night, so focus on searching the World Tree habitat rather than changing the time or returning to the northeastern sanctuary.
After catching two opposite-gender Orserks, breeding becomes available through Orserk and Orserk. Until then, the World Tree is the destination, and any guide still pointing toward Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 is following Palworld’s old map rather than its 1.0 progression.
