R.E.P.O. just dropped into Early Access, and naturally, the first question on everyone’s mind is: “When can I play this on my couch?” If you’re hoping to see it on Xbox, PlayStation, or even the Switch, here’s the deal.
Will R.E.P.O. Come to Console?
R.E.P.O. has been a big hit on PC since launching in late February 2025, leaving Xbox, PS5, and Switch players wondering when they’ll get to join in.
Right now, the game is in early access with several maps, a variety of monsters, and plenty of replayable content. PC players might even get matchmaking soon, but what about consoles?
Is R.E.P.O. Coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch?
It looks like R.E.P.O. is coming to consoles at some point, but there are still a lot of unknowns.
The game has a PlayStation Store page, and players can add it to their wishlist. However, no exact release date is listed—just "2025." The listing also suggests only two-player online support, which is a big drop from PC’s larger lobbies.
No sign of the game on Xbox or Switch. There’s no store page for either, and even the Windows Store on Xbox PC doesn’t have it yet. This could mean it’s not coming to Xbox at all or just hasn’t been officially announced yet.
It would be strange if R.E.P.O. launched only on PlayStation, but it wouldn’t be the first time a game had limited exclusivity. Sony could be securing a deal similar to how Xbox snagged Palworld for Game Pass.
As for Switch, early access games rarely land on Nintendo’s system. Even Lethal Company skipped it for that reason. So if R.E.P.O. ever comes to Nintendo, it might be on the Switch 2 after the full 1.0 release.
