R.E.P.O. just dropped into Early Access, and naturally, the first question on everyone’s mind is: “When can I play this on my couch?” If you’re hoping to see it on Xbox, PlayStation, or even the Switch, here’s the deal.
Will R.E.P.O. Come to Console?
Right now, R.E.P.O. is strictly a PC affair, available only through Steam Early Access. That means the developers are still fine-tuning the game, probably swatting bugs and arguing over balance changes before they even think about console ports.
So, what are the chances of it coming to consoles?
The developers haven’t confirmed anything yet, which is industry speak for “maybe, but don’t hold your breath.”
Early Access games can take months (sometimes years) to hit full release.
Ports are more likely if the game sells well on PC and enough people beg for it (so get out there and start making a fuss).
If you want R.E.P.O. on consoles, the best move is to support it on PC, tell your friends, and make some noise in the official Discord. Developers tend to listen when enough players start demanding a port—preferably in a polite but persistent way.
For now, console players will have to wait. Or bribe a friend with a decent gaming PC. Pizza usually works.
