RS3 Leagues 2 Best Blessings Tier List
RS3 Leagues 2 blessings are a little different from relics because I would not try to lock in one perfect build from the moment Tier 1 opens. You get blessing resets as you progress, while your earlier Chaos, Balance, and Order choices also determine which God Tier blessing you can access later. That makes the route into a build almost as important as the final build itself.
For most players, I would use the early tiers to make combat easier, reset once the account has better gear and abilities, and only then start chasing the ridiculous crit, shield, poison, or perk combinations that actually define the late game. A blessing that is mediocre at Tier 8 can still be one of the best choices at Tier 1 if it gets you through the first half of the League faster.

Best RS3 Leagues 2 Blessings Overall
If I was ranking the blessings purely by how much they can change combat, my top group would be Teragard's Aegis, Steadfast Will, Sacred Fervor, Unholy Critual, Perfidious, and Genesis Essence. I would also put True Equilibrium very close behind because it is one of the easiest blessings to slot into almost any account without having to rebuild everything around it.
Teragard's Aegis gets my vote for the best early blessing because tank gear is easy enough to get while the blessing turns armour into both ability damage and health regeneration. Steadfast Will is one of the strongest build-around picks because it dramatically improves Bash, Preparation, Reflect, and Revenge, while Sacred Fervor simply makes combat feel better by reducing ability and special attack cooldowns by 30%.
Later on, Unholy Critual and Perfidious are where damage starts getting silly, especially once you have Icyenic Faith or another way of pushing critical chance. Genesis Essence is less flashy but may be the easiest Tier 8 blessing to recommend because treating your equipped weapons as Tier 120 is useful without demanding a specific armour set, Invention setup, or regional unlock.
Use Your Blessing Resets Instead of Forcing One Build From Tier 1
I think this is the biggest thing people can get wrong with blessings. You receive resets during progression, including one at Tier 1, another with the first God Tier, and another at the second God Tier. There is no reason your Tier 1 setup has to resemble what you eventually use at Tier 8.
Early combat has completely different problems. You have worse gear, fewer abilities, and less room to recover from mistakes, so defensive blessings and simple damage are worth more. Later on, when your account already has strong gear and League buffs, a blessing that only keeps you alive can become less valuable than one that turns crit chance, poison, perks, or set effects into another layer of damage.
I would basically treat blessings as three builds over the life of the account: something safe to get started, something fast for the middle of the League, and then whatever end-game setup you actually want to keep.
The other thing to watch is the Chaos, Balance, and Order alignment. Tiers 4 and 8 are not completely independent picks because your previous blessings decide which God Tier path you unlock. Taking one blessing from each path gives you the Balance God blessing, while a majority pushes you toward that majority's God blessing instead. Picking an individually strong blessing can therefore have a hidden cost if it sends you toward a Tier 4 or Tier 8 option you never wanted.
Tier 1: Teragard's Aegis Is the Best Starting Pick
My Tier 1 order is Teragard's Aegis first, Big Boned second, and Adrenaline Junkie third.
Teragard's Aegis makes the most sense early because it rewards the gear you are already likely to have. Tank armour becomes ability damage and regeneration, while defenders and shields push the effect even further. You do not need some elaborate late-game setup before the blessing starts doing something useful.
Big Boned is more interesting than it looks because increasing maximum life points also feeds its damage bonus, and it has a place in Necromancy setups involving conjures. I still prefer Aegis because the armour interaction gives you more immediate value across normal combat.
Adrenaline Junkie is the blessing I like more after the account is already strong. More maximum adrenaline and 50% faster generation can become excellent once your rotations actually have expensive abilities worth feeding, but that matters less at the exact point Tier 1 opens.
Tier 2: I Prefer Abyssal Cinders Over Barkscales
I would put Abyssal Cinders first, Barkscales second, and Striking Light third for a general account.
Abyssal Cinders adds bonus damage to abilities with another chance to trigger additional damage, so it scales better as the rest of the build improves. Melee and Ranged setups throwing out lots of hits get plenty of chances to benefit, and it also fits naturally into the crit-heavy builds that become available later.
Barkscales is probably the better choice if you are struggling early. Reducing incoming damage based on armour is already useful, and the chance to spread area poison gives you some free damage while enemies are hitting you. I would not dismiss it just because poison damage itself does not award combat experience; keeping early combat comfortable can be worth more than squeezing every possible damage proc out of the tier.
Striking Light is the one I would deliberately take on a short-term early setup and then reset later. Basics matter more when your ability pool is still shallow, which makes the blessing stronger at the beginning than it looks in an end-game tier list. Once your rotation fills out, I would rather have Cinders.
Tier 3: Steadfast Will Is the First Blessing I Would Actually Build Around
Steadfast Will is comfortably my Tier 3 winner. The blessing improves Bash, Preparation, Reflect, and Revenge enough that shields and defenders stop feeling like gear you are wearing purely because you want to survive.
Preparation is the part I find especially interesting because it can let you work powerful abilities back into the rotation again, while Bash itself can become a serious damage source with the right armour and defensive setup. If you already liked the Teragard's Aegis route, Steadfast Will makes that choice feel much more like the beginning of an actual build.
Avernic Rampage comes second for me. The chance for abilities and special attacks to cost no adrenaline becomes considerably better once you reach a point where your combat actually revolves around those expensive attacks. I would not prioritize it early, but its ceiling is much better than its first impression.
Eternal Sustenance is last. Eating without consuming food or losing adrenaline sounds ridiculous until you account for how much healing and supply conservation Leagues already throws at you. It is convenient, but I would rather use the slot to make the actual combat stronger.
Tier 4: Sacred Fervor Is the God Blessing I Would Aim For
Sacred Fervor is my favorite Tier 4 outcome because a 30% reduction to combat ability and special attack cooldowns works with almost anything you decide to play afterward. It does not care whether the final account ends up Melee, Magic, Ranged, Necromancy, crit-heavy, or shield-heavy.
Splash Zone is more situational but can get very strong against larger targets because area abilities gain bonus damage based on target size. I would take it when I already knew the final build was going to exploit that rather than as a default choice.
Demon's Mark is the one I would avoid routing into unless I had a very particular reason. Calculating accuracy from the target's weakness is not worthless, but League combat has so many ways to become absurd that using a God Tier blessing primarily to fix accuracy feels underwhelming next to faster cooldowns or stronger area damage.
Tier 5: True Equilibrium Is Boring, but That Is Why It Is Good
True Equilibrium is my Tier 5 pick for most players because it gives you combat stats based on the relic alignments you chose. There is no awkward condition to maintain and no major piece of your normal rotation disappears in exchange.
Higher Power increases your base ability damage but removes combat ultimates, which is a much bigger trade than the tooltip initially makes it sound. There are builds where that is perfectly fine, especially if you want a simpler rotation and do not care about squeezing out the absolute highest ceiling, but I would not call it the general best choice.
Havoc Born is even more specialized because you are trading maximum life points and armour for damage. Once the account is already strong enough to survive comfortably, that can be fun. I would not rush into it during the part of the League where the extra defence is still doing real work.
Tier 6: Unholy Critual Has the Highest Ceiling
Unholy Critual is my first choice here because excess critical strike chance gets converted into damage, while Infernos of Zamorak become stronger as part of the same package. That is exactly the kind of blessing that starts going crazy in Leagues because crit is already something you can push far beyond what a normal account would reasonably have.
This gets even better with Icyenic Faith, which doubles your base crit chance. Once crit chance is no longer difficult to obtain, being able to turn excess crit into something useful prevents the stat from effectively hitting a dead end.
Lord of Light comes second for me and may actually be the better choice if you want easier PvM rather than maximum damage. Basic attacks create healing Lights of Saradomin that scale with Prayer bonus, giving you damage and sustain at the same time. Bigger targets are especially good for the effect, and it continues into some very strong Tier 7 interactions.
Tearing Thorns is the one I would take specifically for a damage-over-time build. Extending DOT abilities and empowering Grasps of Guthix gives poison and bleed-style setups their own route, but it loses some appeal in group PvM where those effects can be less comfortable to build around.
Tier 7: Perfidious Is My Best Damage Pick
Perfidious gets my Tier 7 vote because it directly improves the Inferno of Zamorak, Grasp of Guthix, and Light of Saradomin effects that the earlier blessing paths have been building toward. If your route is already using those effects, this is where the earlier choices start paying off rather than feeling like separate bonuses.
Envenomed is much more specialized but absolutely belongs in any build that actually wants poison. Strengthening poison and temporarily removing enemy poison immunity is a much bigger deal than simply adding another poison proc, because immunity is normally the exact thing that shuts those builds down against certain targets.
Tempered Heart continuously generates adrenaline, and I think it is probably the safest blind pick of the tier. It does not create the same ceiling as Perfidious, but every style can find something useful to do with more adrenaline. If I had reached Tier 7 without committing to one of the more elaborate blessing setups, this is the one I would be least worried about taking.
Tier 8: Genesis Essence Is the Best General God Blessing
Genesis Essence is my default Tier 8 recommendation because treating your equipped weapons as Tier 120 is ridiculous without asking you to bring a spreadsheet of set effects or Invention perks along with it. If I was recommending one end-game God blessing to somebody who just wants their character to become much stronger, this would be it.
Chaotic Insight probably has the higher ceiling for certain end-game gear setups because equipped combat items count as additional pieces toward set effects. That opens combinations that normally should not fit together, especially for crit builds where you are trying to steal the best part of several armour sets at once. The downside is obvious: you need the right pieces from the right regions before any of that matters.
Power Archive has a similar problem. Storing augmented-equipment gizmos and doubling eligible combat perk ranks can become completely absurd, but Ancient Invention is needed to really push the idea, which makes Kandarin much more important. If you already chose your regions around Invention, I could easily see Power Archive beating Genesis Essence for the final account. If you did not, Genesis is much easier to use.
Best RS3 Leagues 2 Blessing Routes
For a normal account that wants strong PvM without turning the entire League into build planning, I would start with Teragard's Aegis, take Abyssal Cinders or Barkscales depending on how comfortable combat feels, move into Steadfast Will, and aim for Sacred Fervor. After that, True Equilibrium keeps the setup simple, while Unholy Critual, Perfidious, and Genesis Essence give you a very strong late-game finish.
If I wanted the easiest bossing setup rather than the highest possible damage, I would lean much harder into health, healing, and Lord of Light. Big Boned has more value there, Striking Light can carry the early ability-starved part of the account, and Lord of Light gives you passive healing while you keep attacking. Pairing that kind of setup with Icyenic Faith makes protection prayers even more forgiving because the relic can provide full protection and life steal at the same time.
For crit, I would build backward from Unholy Critual and Chaotic Insight rather than choosing the early blessings independently. Abyssal Cinders fits naturally, Icyenic Faith gives you the crit foundation, and Chaotic Insight lets the end-game gear setup abuse multiple set bonuses in ways a normal account simply cannot. That route makes the most sense for Melee, Magic, and Ranged players who actually want to chase the gear required to finish it.
For poison or DOT damage, the path is much more specific: Barkscales, Tearing Thorns, and Envenomed are the important pieces. I would mainly use that setup for solo PvM where you have more control over keeping your effects rolling, rather than expecting it to be the universal best answer for every group encounter.
Necromancy is the one style where I would worry less about forcing the crit route. Big Boned and Striking Light make more sense here, while Lord of Light gives the account extra sustain. At Tier 8, Genesis Essence is appealing simply because Tier 120 weapons are straightforward value, while Power Archive becomes the more complicated alternative if you have Kandarin and want to push Invention perks into conjure damage.
The main thing I would not do is copy one finished Tier 8 build from the start and refuse to change it. Early Leagues combat and end-game Leagues combat are barely the same problem. Use the blessings that make the account comfortable now, take advantage of the resets the mode gives you, and then rebuild around whichever ridiculous interaction your relics, regions, gear, and preferred combat style actually support later.
