RuneScape 3 (RS3): How to Restore Stats

In RuneScape 3 your stats might go down because of poison, special attacks, or other effects. Here’s how to restore stats:

1. Check Your Stats

  • Open your Stats Menu to see which numbers are lower than normal.

  • Drained stats will show smaller numbers than usual.

2. Use Food or Drinks

  • Eat Food: Some foods, like Stew or Summer Pie, can heal your health and sometimes boost or restore stats.

  • Drink Potions: Potions like Prayer Potions or Super Restores are great for getting specific stats back, like Prayer or combat-related stats.

3. Use Restoring Potions

  • Super Restore Potions: These restore all combat stats (except Constitution and Summoning).

  • Prayer Potions: These restore Prayer points if Prayer is drained.

  • Overload Potions: These not only restore combat stats but also boost them during fights.

  • Antipoison or Sanfew Serum: If poison drained your stats, these remove poison and restore them.

4. Rest at a Safe Spot

  • Bonfire: Use a bonfire and select "Rest" to slowly recover your stats.

  • Lodestone Areas: Resting in a safe area like near a lodestone also lets stats recover over time.

5. Let Stats Recover Over Time

  • If you’re not in combat, drained stats will naturally return to normal after a while. This method is slow but doesn’t use any items.

6. Make Your Own Potions

If you often need to restore stats, you can make potions with Herblore:

  • Use Snapdragon and Red Spider Eggs to craft Super Restore Potions.

  • These potions restore most combat stats and are handy to keep in your bank.

7. Other Options

  • Death (Safe Fights): In some cases dying in a safe area (like a PvM fight with no gear loss or a minigame) can reset your stats.

Tips for Staying Prepared

  • Carry Potions: Always bring potions like Super Restores or Prayer Potions when fighting strong enemies.

  • Avoid Stat-Draining Enemies: Research which monsters lower stats and be ready for them.
