Water might not be flashy, but it’s the one thing your plants can’t live without—kind of like how your empire can’t grow without, well, growing anything.
Here’s how to get water in Schedule 1.

Step 1: Buy the Watering Can
After the tutorial kicks off, you’ll be asked to head to the Hardware Store. Pick up the usual suspects, including a watering can. It’s cheap, easy to find, and absolutely necessary.
Step 2: Fill the Can at the Sink
Once you're back at your motel room:
Place your grow pod
Plant a seed
Equip the watering can from your hotbar
Walk up to the sink in your motel room
Press E to place the can under the tap
Turn the faucet on to fill it
You can increase or decrease the flow, but there’s no reason not to max it out.
Step 3: Water Your Plant
Stand over your plant with the full watering can
Press E again to start pouring
Tilt the can until the plant is satisfied
You’ll know it worked when the little water icon on your plant disappears.
