Skate How to Get Missions Guide

Skate How to Get Missions Guide

After finishing the Isle of Grom tutorial, you’ll unlock Missions in San Vansterdam. These Missions, given by the San Van City Councillors, are the main way to explore the city and progress. They open the map, reward gear, and connect you with new areas of play.

How to Access Missions

Missions can be found in the Hub. Open the menu and select the Missions tab. Here you can see available Missions, their descriptions, and the rewards for finishing them.

When you track a Mission, it shows up on your map so you can follow it directly. If you’d rather explore without waypoints, you can untrack it at any time.

Tasks and Rewards

Tasks are separate from Missions but run alongside them. They reset daily and weekly, with seasonal versions coming later. Completing Tasks earns you Rip Chips, which can be claimed in the Hub.

Always claim your rewards before the reset. If you forget, they disappear and can’t be collected later.

Challenges and Co-Op

Challenges add another layer of progression. These include Own the Spot, Session, Stunt, and Line challenges. They give Rip Chips and test your skills.

Challenges can be started directly from the map or by using the bus to fast travel nearby. Crew Challenges are permanent, while City Challenges rotate every 24 hours. You can attempt them solo or with friends, and completing all objectives “shuts it down.”

Linking Progression

Finishing Missions, Tasks, and Challenges earns Rip Chips and gear, while also raising your Neighborhood rank. Ranking up unlocks more Challenges and additional Product Boxes in that neighborhood’s shop.

Product Boxes add to your Rip Score and open new customization options. Higher ranks mean more gear, rewards, and style choices for your skater.

Final Blurb

Getting Missions in Skate is simple. Open the Hub, track them, and complete objectives across San Vansterdam. Alongside Missions, Tasks and Challenges keep you busy with new rewards, Rip Chips, and rep to push your neighborhoods forward.
