SUPERVIVE: How to Play Jin
Jin (or “gin” as some say) is a melee-focused Hunter in Supervive who is quick with great burst damage. Here are Jin’s abilities and things to know when playing Jin:
Jin Abilities Overview
Shadowgrace (Passive): Jin is alerted when seen by an enemy and moves faster while out of sight. Landing attacks in combat grants additional movement speed.
Ash'gara Warblade (LMB): Executes a three-hit melee combo. Holding the attack performs a Charged Stab for increased damage.
Flash Dagger (RMB): Throws a knife that teleports Jin behind the struck enemy, allowing for quick engagement or repositioning.
Dodge Roll (Shift): Performs a short dash in the targeted direction, aiding in evasion and mobility.
Flip Slash / Death Blow (Q): Jin flips into the air, slowing enemies hit. Recasting the ability slams down, dealing significant damage to affected foes.
Feylight Clone (R): Creates a clone at a target location that mimics Jin's actions. Recasting moves the clone; holding the ability swaps positions with it, enabling deceptive tactics.
Tips for Playing Jin
Engagement: Use Flash Dagger to quickly close gaps and surprise enemies, initiating combos with Ash'gara Warblade.
Mobility: Dodge Roll and the speed boosts from Shadowgrace allow Jin to weave in and out of combat, avoiding damage and repositioning.
Combos: Start with Flip Slash to slow enemies, then follow up with Death Blow for burst damage. Use Feylight Clone to confuse opponents.
Deception: Feylight Clone can be used to bait enemies or escape dangerous situations by swapping positions.
