What Ranks Can Play Together in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals has a competitive ranking system where players work their way up through different ranks, starting at Bronze and aiming for the top ranks like Eternity and One Above All. To keep things balanced, the game has rules about which ranks can team up in Competitive mode.

Rules for Teaming Up in Competitive Mode

In competitive/ranked mode you can only team up with players who are close to your rank. Basically, players can only group with others in the same or nearby tiers (i.e. within one rank away). Here’s how it works:

  • Bronze can team up with their own rank and Silver.

  • Silver players can play with Bronze through Gold.

  • Gold can play with Silver through Platinum.

  • Platinum can play with Gold through Diamond .

  • Diamond can play with Platinum through Grandmaster.

  • Grandmaster can play with Diamond through Eternity.

  • Eternity can play with Grandmaster through One Above All.

  • One Above All can play with Eternity and their own rank.

This system helps create fair matches by making sure teams have similar skill levels.

Teaming Up in Quickplay

If you don’t want to worry about rank restrictions then Quickplay is the way to go. In this mode, players can team up with friends of any rank. It’s perfect for practicing or just having fun with people at different skill levels.

Final Blurb

The rank system in Marvel Rivals tries to make sure that Competitive mode stays fair and fun. While you’ll need to stay within your rank tier for serious matches, Quickplay gives you more freedom. Whether you’re new to the game or aiming for the top, the rules keep things balanced for everyone.
