In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Nikvard is a key NPC for the Opus Magnum side quest. However, he won’t be marked on your map, even if you follow the optional objectives. If you want to skip the extra steps and go directly to Nikvard, here’s where to find him.
Nikvard’s Location
Exit Trosky Castle
Leave through the front gate, near the gallows.
Follow the Path Around the Castle
Take the small path around the northwest side of the castle.
Reach the Cliffs Below the Guard Tower
Head toward the cliffs northwest of the castle.
This area is below the guardhouse latrine.
Find Nikvard’s Body
Unfortunately, Nikvard is already dead.
He was searching for the Miller’s book, which fell into the latrine, but he didn’t survive his search.
Final Tips
Skip all optional objectives in the quest if you just want to locate Nikvard.
Look for the cliffs northwest of Trosky Castle to find his body.
Make sure to loot Nikvard for any quest-related items.
