In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, treasure maps can lead you to valuable loot hidden across Bohemia. One of the earliest maps you can find is Hired Hand Ventza’s Map, which is linked to the Jaunt questline. This guide will show you how to get the map and where to find the treasure.

How to Get Hired Hand Ventza’s Map

  • Start the Blacksmith’s Questline

    • Travel to Tachov and begin the Blacksmith’s questline.

    • Progress until you reach the Jaunt quest from Radavon.

  • Find the Escaped Hired Hand

    • During Jaunt, you will fight bandits and chase down a runaway hired hand.

    • Move quickly, as Ventza can escape if you take too long.

  • Talk to Ventza

    • When you catch up to him, you’ll have dialogue options. Choose:

      • "Can't think of any other solution?"

      • "I'm listening."

      • "Alright, I'll take it."

    • After this, Ventza will give you his map.

    • You can then intimidate him to surrender or fight and kill him before reporting back.

Where to Find Ventza’s Treasure

  • Stay Behind After the Quest

    • When given the option to return to Semine, stay behind to collect the treasure.

  • Retrace Your Steps from Jaunt

    • Return to the area where you found the overturned cart during the quest.

    • Follow the northeast path, which goes between two large rock formations.

  • Find the Treasure Location

    • Go up the path and turn left at the top.

    • Look for a group of skeletons.

    • Nearby, you’ll see a bag on the ground—loot it to claim your reward.

Treasure Rewards

Looting the bag and nearby weapons will give you:

  • Hunting Crossbow

  • Piercing Bolt

  • Fine Bolt

  • Strong Bowman’s Brew

  • Marksman’s Kit

  • Billhook

  • Bearded Axe

  • Hunting Sword

Final Tips

  • Save before confronting Ventza in case he escapes.

  • Watch out for bandits on your way to the treasure location.

  • If you struggle with combat, use the Hunting Crossbow from the treasure for ranged attacks.
