How to Unlock Multiplayer
Co-op unlocks after progressing through the early main quests until the Fellowship feature appears on your screen.
This usually happens after the Still Shore Evercare Clinic storyline, though timing can vary depending on how you explore. If you finish that section and it still has not triggered, level up your character and raise your World Level cap. Once Fellowship appears, you’ll have full access to multiplayer menus.
How to Start Co-op Mode
When the Fellowship feature unlocks, open the main menu and pick Wandering Paths from the lower Mode row.
Inside you’ll find the Fellowship screen which includes the multiplayer options. From here, invite your friends, form a team, and enter co-op challenges or casual roaming. You can invite up to four players total for open world exploration.

Turning On Online Mode
You can also switch the world into full online mode if you want random players around.
Open the main menu and look for the small character icon with the straw hat. Select it to open the Mode Switch menu and pick Online Mode. After that, you’ll start seeing other players in your world without sending invitations.
Level Scaling Details
Enemy strength always matches the host’s world level.
If you join a friend whose world is higher than yours, expect stronger enemies. If your own world is higher, things will feel easier. Plan your sessions based on who you want to host for the best balance.
