Adding a New Room
To add a room, open your Housing Dashboard and enter Edit Floorplan Mode. This is where you change your home’s interior layout. Select a doorway or connection node on one of your existing rooms, then choose a floorplan from the list to attach it. The new room builds instantly once confirmed.

Once your new room is in place, switch to Decor Mode to design it. Basic Mode helps with neat placement using grid snapping and rotation limits, while Advanced Mode gives full freedom to move, resize, and even float objects in 3D.
Use Partition Objects like walls, archways, and columns to shape separate areas inside larger rooms. If you want color changes, apply dyes made through Alchemy and Inscription to recolor certain furniture and decor.
Leveling to Unlock More Rooms
Your house starts with a small Room Placement Budget of nineteen points. Larger rooms use more points, so you’ll outgrow it fast. Increase your Neighborhood Favor and level up your house to raise your room limit and unlock new floorplans.
You can also build multiple floors as you progress. Interior size doesn’t depend on your house’s outside model, so your home can literally be bigger on the inside.
