Mycopunk Achievements & Trophies
Mycopunk has 48 Steam achievements after the 1.0 release, ranging from basic mission milestones to co-op challenges, Threat Level 7, Incursion, Expedition Alpha, upgrade collecting, and eight hidden achievements. Most of the list overlaps naturally with progression, but a handful require specific actions that are worth planning around before you reach the end of your 100% run.

Mycopunk Achievements Guide
There are 48 achievements to unlock in the Steam version of Mycopunk, including eight hidden achievements. A complete run requires reaching level 30, killing 5,000 enemies, discovering every upgrade, clearing missions through Threat Level 7, reaching Floor 10 in Incursion, completing later 1.0 content such as Expedition Alpha and X11-B, and arranging several challenges with other players.
- Unlock all 48 Steam achievements.
- Reach player level 30.
- Complete missions from Threat Level 1 through Threat Level 7.
- Kill 5,000 enemies.
- Collect 200 upgrades and eventually discover every upgrade.
- Complete missions across the required regions, including X11-B.
- Rescue Mycologist during Expedition Alpha.
- Reach Floor 10 in Incursion.
- Score 10,000 in Starrunner.
- Complete several achievements that require other players.
The efficient approach is not to grind any of the large cumulative requirements immediately. Mission clears contribute toward your level, enemy kills, upgrade collection, region achievements, and higher-threat progression at the same time. Save deliberate farming for whatever remains after the rest of the list is finished.
Mycopunk 100% Achievement Roadmap
Start by playing normally and collecting upgrades instead of worrying about the completionist achievements. Upgrader, Exotic, Big Damage, Ow, the early region achievements, and the lower threat levels should all begin disappearing from the list during ordinary progression.
As your build becomes stronger, work upward through the threat settings rather than spending too much time farming one comfortable difficulty. You eventually need successful missions on every setting through Threat Level 7 for Predicament, while Yikes requires another clear with at least four modifiers active.
At the same time, take advantage of any sessions with friends. Best Teammate, Yeehawwwww!, Full Crew, and the hidden BANG achievement all involve other players. Getting those out of the way during normal co-op is considerably better than reaching 47 achievements and needing to assemble another group for one joke challenge.
The 1.0 content can form the next stage of the run. Complete Expedition Alpha to rescue Mycologist, finish the Overtime Assignment, visit X11-B, clear a Swamp mission, push Incursion to Floor 10, open a locked bunker, and work toward the 10,000-point Starrunner score.
Only after that should you look at the major grinds. Employee of the Day needs level 30, Serial Killer requires 5,000 kills, Hoarder asks for 200 collected upgrades, and The Holder of All Things requires every upgrade to be discovered. By leaving these until the end, everything you did for the other 44 achievements has already reduced the amount of dedicated farming required.
Progression and Upgrade Achievements
- Upgrader: Apply an upgrade.
- Exotic: Find an Exotic upgrade.
- Collector: Collect 50 upgrades.
- Hoarder: Collect 200 upgrades.
- Space Optimization: Fit nine upgrades onto one grid.
- Big Shot: Reach level 15.
- Employee of the Day: Reach level 30.
- Serial Killer: Kill 5,000 enemies.
- Big Damage: Deal a lot of damage.
- Ow: Take a lot of damage.
Upgrader should be one of your first achievements, while Exotic and Collector naturally follow as better rewards begin appearing. Hoarder is a much longer commitment, so keep collecting upgrades throughout the entire run even when a particular drop does not immediately fit the build you are using.
Space Optimization is different because it cares about your grid rather than raw progression. You need nine individual upgrades fitted into a single grid at once, so compact patterns become more valuable than their stats for this challenge. Treat it as a packing puzzle and rearrange the grid specifically around fitting nine pieces rather than trying to preserve your normal combat build.
Big Damage and Ow do not reveal numerical requirements in their Steam descriptions. There is no reason to chase an invented threshold; both are best treated as cumulative achievements while you continue completing missions.
Serial Killer and Employee of the Day will likely survive much longer. Keep combining the level 30 and 5,000-kill grind with unfinished upgrades and mission objectives so the same run is progressing several achievements at once.
Combat and Movement Achievements
- Overclocker: Die to an overclocked enemy core.
- Hard Landing: Die from fall damage.
- ABOMINATION!: Get the final hit on an Abomination.
- Swinger: Swing around a grapple pole for its full duration without touching the ground.
- Yikes: Complete a mission with at least four active modifiers.
- Slap: Kill a Hornet with your melee attack.
Overclocker is one of the few achievements where you actively want the dangerous outcome. When an overclocked enemy dies and its core is about to explode, stay close enough for the resulting blast to kill you.
Hard Landing works on the same principle: the fall itself needs to deliver the fatal damage. If you are having trouble finding a fall large enough from full health, attempt it after taking damage rather than repeatedly searching for a taller cliff.
For ABOMINATION!, you need the final hit rather than merely participating in the fight. This matters most in co-op, where four players unloading at the same target can make the finishing blow unpredictable. If someone specifically needs the achievement, let that player finish the last portion of the Abomination's health.
Swinger requires staying off the ground for the grapple pole's entire swing duration, while Slap is easier if you damage a Hornet first and use melee only for the finishing hit. There is no reason to try killing a healthy Hornet entirely through melee unless you want to make the achievement harder than it needs to be.
Yikes is better left until you have a dependable build. Four simultaneous modifiers can turn an otherwise familiar mission into something much less forgiving, so choose a mission you already know rather than combining the achievement with unfamiliar content.
Mycopunk Co-Op Achievements
- Best Teammate: Kill a member of your crew.
- Yeehawwwww!: As Wrangler, lasso another player.
- Full Crew: Complete a mission with four different employees in your crew.
- BANG: Make a basket with another player's broken body. This is a hidden achievement.
Best Teammate and Yeehawwwww! can be arranged with one other player. Use Wrangler for the lasso achievement, then set up Best Teammate separately rather than waiting for the right circumstances to happen during a difficult mission.
Full Crew requires four different employees in the group. With Mycologist bringing the roster to five employees in 1.0, the important wording is four different employees rather than one mandatory combination. Check everyone's selection before deployment and complete the mission with all four represented.
BANG is the co-op achievement easiest to overlook because it is hidden. You need another player's broken body and must successfully make a basket with it, so this is worth attempting during the same dedicated co-op session as the other multiplayer challenges.
Region and Mission Achievements
- No Broccoli Please: Complete a mission in the Gravity Farms.
- It's So Red: Complete a mission in the Moldy Tundra.
- I Like Sand: Complete a mission in the Desert.
- I Think I Left My Keys in the Taxi, Can We Go Back And Get Them?: Complete a mission in Titan City.
- Freezing my Battery Off: Complete a mission in the Ice Floes.
- Prospector: Complete a mission in the Swamp.
- X11-B: Complete a mission on X11-B.
- Expedition Alpha: Rescue the Mycologist.
- Overtime: Complete the Overtime Assignment.
- The 10th Floor: Reach Floor 10 in Incursion.
- Bunker Buster: Open a locked bunker.
- Starrunner: Get a score of 10,000 in Starrunner.
The six standard region achievements only require a successful mission in the named area, so rotate through regions as they become available rather than repeatedly farming the same map. X11-B is a separate 1.0 destination and has its own achievement for completing a mission there.
Expedition Alpha is also tied directly to the fifth playable employee. Continue through the mission, defeat the boss holding Mycologist inside its core, and complete her rescue to unlock the achievement.
The 10th Floor requires a deeper Incursion run, so it is better attempted after your build has matured rather than as soon as the mode becomes available. Starrunner is similarly explicit: the target is 10,000 points, so continue the activity until you cross that score rather than merely completing a run.
Bunker Buster now works from opening a locked bunker. Early 1.0 players may have seen reports claiming that 15 bunkers were required because the launch version had an achievement bug, but that issue was subsequently fixed.
All Mycopunk Threat Level Achievements
Seven achievements cover Mycopunk's complete threat ladder. Each description calls for a mission on a specific threat setting, so work through the levels as your build improves rather than assuming one high-level completion will replace the entire sequence.
- Safe: Complete a mission on Threat Level 1.
- Risky: Complete a mission on Threat Level 2.
- Perilous: Complete a mission on Threat Level 3.
- Treacherous: Complete a mission on Threat Level 4.
- Deadly: Complete a mission on Threat Level 5.
- Onslaught: Complete a mission on Threat Level 6.
- Predicament: Complete a mission on Threat Level 7.
Predicament is the obvious wall in this group. There is little benefit to forcing Threat Level 7 early when the rest of the achievement list already gives you plenty of reasons to improve your employee and weapon grids first. Build toward it while clearing regions, collecting upgrades, and reaching level 30, then return with a loadout that is actually prepared for the difficulty.
All Hidden Achievements in Mycopunk
Mycopunk has eight hidden Steam achievements in the current 1.0 list. Several are small HUB jokes, while others are tied to bosses or late-game content.
- Employee of the Month: Die 31 times.
- Oops: Knock over a pipe in the HUB.
- Cranius: Defeat Cranius.
- BANG: Make a basket with another player's broken body.
- Calm Down: Say hi to Roachard a lot.
- Ground Zero: Complete Ground Zero.
- The Broken Frame: Find the Broken Frame.
- The Holder of All Things: Discover every upgrade.
Employee of the Month is another achievement best left alone until late in the run. Thirty-one deaths may happen naturally while climbing through the harder threat levels and 1.0 content, and any remaining deaths are trivial to clean up afterward.
Oops, Hi, Calm Down, and I Want Saxitos make the HUB worth checking before you leave it behind for endgame grinding. Oops requires knocking over a pipe, while Calm Down extends the same Roachard interaction used for Hi. Steam does not specify how many greetings count as “a lot,” so continue the interaction until the achievement triggers rather than relying on an unsupported number.
Cranius requires defeating the hidden boss. If you saw warnings that the achievement was broken at 1.0 launch, that issue has since been patched, so defeating Cranius should now award the achievement correctly.
Ground Zero and The Broken Frame are both hidden 1.0 objectives. Their Steam descriptions only require completing Ground Zero and finding the Broken Frame respectively, so there is no need to invent additional conditions beyond those objectives.
The Holder of All Things is likely to be one of the final achievements for a completionist because it requires every upgrade to be discovered, not merely reaching the 200-upgrade total for Hoarder. Keep checking new rewards and filling holes in your discovered-upgrade collection while completing the rest of the game, then focus specifically on missing upgrades once everything else is finished.
A good 100% run therefore ends very differently from how it begins. Early on, the goal is simply to keep progressing through regions, threat levels, upgrades, and employee levels without wasting time on isolated grinds. By the end, you should have narrowed the list down to a handful of specific 1.0 objectives, co-op challenges, and whatever long-term progression counters remain. That approach lets nearly every mission contribute toward several achievements instead of turning Mycopunk's 48-achievement list into 48 separate chores.
