Phantom Blade Zero How to Cross Bridge (Creek Valley)

The broken bridge near the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell in Phantom Blade Zero looks impossible to cross with a normal jump. However, there's a movement trick that can get you to the other side without following the longer route through the surrounding area.

How to Cross the Broken Bridge in Phantom Blade Zero

To cross the broken bridge beside the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell, use Sprint Burst to build momentum, jump toward the opposite platform, and perform two heavy attacks with Jagged Blades while airborne.

  1. Equip Jagged Blades and approach the broken bridge.
  2. Activate Sprint Burst as you move toward the gap.
  3. Jump toward the opposite side.
  4. Perform two heavy attacks in midair to extend your forward movement.
  5. Land on the far platform and continue toward the house containing the treasure chest.

This method has been successfully used to clear the gap. The additional movement from the airborne attacks allows you to travel farther than a normal running jump.

Can You Cross With Fanatic's Broken Blade?

Fanatic's Broken Blade is another option. Its Sha-Chi attack has also been used to reach the opposite side, although the timing appears less consistent.

I'd recommend trying Jagged Blades first because the Sprint Burst and double-heavy-attack combination has been successfully repeated.

Alternative Route Using the Tiger Cannon

There may also be a way to approach the opposite side without relying on a difficult jump.

One possible route involves the Tiger Cannon Phantom Edge and a breakable wall near the first Loong pillar. The surrounding area also contains a ramp that may connect back toward the bridge.

However, the exact path through this section hasn't been conclusively established. The Tiger Cannon approach is worth investigating if you've already unlocked the ability, but it isn't necessary for the demonstrated jumping method.

What If You Can't Make the Bridge Jump?

If you're falling short, the issue may be your momentum or when you're performing the heavy attacks.

Check Your Sprint and Attack Timing

Make sure you're activating Sprint Burst before jumping and performing both heavy attacks while still airborne.

The goal is to use the attacks to extend your movement across the gap. A normal jump or a single attack may not provide enough distance.

Try adjusting when you start your first heavy attack rather than repeating the same jump without changing anything.

Try Another Weapon or Return Later

If Jagged Blades aren't working, you can experiment with Fanatic's Broken Blade and its Sha-Chi attack.

Alternatively, continue exploring Creek Valley and return once you have access to the Tiger Cannon or have discovered another way toward the far side.

For the broken bridge near Creek Valley Plains Entrance, the Sprint Burst and double-heavy-attack technique is the clearest demonstrated crossing method. It may take a few attempts, but it provides a way to reach the opposite platform without waiting for additional story progression.
