Avowed Wasteland Courier Quest Guide and Walkthrough

In Avowed, The Wasteland Courier side quest involves retrieving a suspicious package. Here's a step-by-step guide and walkthrough on how to complete it:
1. Start the Quest
Location: Head to Thirdborn in Shatterscarp, specifically near the Fleet Master’s Perch.
Talk to Daiko: Daiko will ask you to retrieve a package and mentions that graffiti around town will guide you to it. He won’t give you many details, but you can follow the clues.
2. Follow the Graffiti
Start from Daiko: Go up the stairs past Daiko, turn right at the top, and walk across town. Look for a small water fountain with three spouts.
Find the Graffiti: Turn left from the fountain, and near the main building, you’ll find a breakable wooden barrier. Behind it, on the wall, you’ll spot the Crude Graffiti that points you to the meeting spot for the package.
3. Find Aiko and the Package
Location: The package is located in the Deadfall Highlands, northeast of Thirdborn. Follow the white arrows to the meeting point.
Defeat the Spiders: At the meeting spot, you’ll find Aiko, who has been bitten by Crystal Eater Spiderlings. You’ll need to defeat several waves of these spiders as you proceed through the area.
Talk to Aiko: Once the spiders are defeated, speak to Aiko by the campfire. He’ll explain the package’s contents (fungal growths from Dreamthralls). Aiko will offer you the Suspicious Package but asks for 500 Skeyt or you can lie and claim you don’t have the money.
4. The Consequence of Aiko’s Death
If you give Aiko the money, he will collapse and die from the venom, leaving his body lootable with Pelt and 1,000 Skeyt (a 500 Skeyt profit). If you don’t give him the money, he won’t have any loot when he dies.
Blow up the nearby barrels to destroy a wall and exit the camp with the Suspicious Package.
5. Return the Package
You can choose to either return the package to Daiko or hand it over to Tira Nui.
6. Option 1: Return the Package to Daiko
Conversation with Daiko: Return the package to Daiko in the town center. He’ll ask about Aiko’s death. You can either tell him the truth (the stuff did nothing) or lie (claim the stuff had an effect).
Reward: Daiko will give you the Poisoner’s Kit trinket (+5% bonus poison damage) and 516 XP.
7. Option 2: Give the Package to Tira Nui
Talk to Tira Nui Hajime: Hand the package to Hajime in the town center. If you tried the stuff, you’ll inform him they didn’t work. If not, you’ll just hand it over.
Conversation: Let him know Aiko is dead, and he will give you the Thirdborn Tira Nui Badge trinket (+2 Might) and 516 XP.
Conclusion:
Best Option: The rewards for giving the package to Tira Nui are useful if you want the Thirdborn Tira Nui Badge. However, if you prefer the Poisoner’s Kit, return the package to Daiko.
Regardless of your choice, you’ll receive 516 XP and complete the quest!
