In the Besieged quest, Henry needs to pick three men to join Dry Devil on a raid against the Prague forces. Some of them might not survive, so if you’ve got favorites, maybe don’t send them to their doom.

Who to Send on the Raid?

You’ve got a few options, scattered around the courtyard like medieval NPCs waiting for a quest. Here’s where to find them:

  1. Samuel and Kubyenka – Sitting on a bench, probably enjoying their last moment of peace.

  2. Knacker Wolfram – In the infirmary, because nothing says “ready for battle” like needing medical attention.

  3. Jaroslav of Skalitz and Janek of Skalitz – Standing guard at the gate, looking like they’re already in fight mode.

Picking the Right Men

Your choices do matter, because some may not make it back, but the end-result will be the same in terms of the quest. Here’s how to decide:

  • Want experienced fighters? The Skalitz guards are battle-hardened and good picks.

  • Want a balanced team? Pick one heavy fighter, one archer, and one all-rounder for a mix of skills.

  • Want a guy who was literally in the infirmary five minutes ago? Send Knacker Wolfram, if you like a little extra drama.

  • Don’t want to overthink it? Honestly, any combo works, so just pick who looks the toughest (or who you don’t mind losing).

The Raid

  • Once your squad is ready, meet Dry Devil in the northeast courtyard cellar.

  • Capon gives you a choice: take a bow (faster) or crossbow (stronger, but slower).

  • Defend the walls: First wave is easy, just shoot them.

  • Second wave uses shields: Aim above their shields for headshots.

Aftermath

  • Survivors return (if they made it).

  • Talk to Zizka, who pats you on the back for a job well done.

  • Go to bed, because you’ve earned it.

That’s it! Some men might not make it, but hey, that’s medieval war for you.
