Armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a mix of random looted pieces and high-tier named gear. Unlike the first game, there aren’t many complete sets, so you’ll have to mix and match the best pieces. If you want the strongest and most unique armor, here’s what to look for.

Best Unique Armor Pieces in KCD2

Best Helmet: Noble’s Bascinet

  • The highest defense helmet (134 armor rating) in the game.

  • Can be found in Kuttenberg, usually sold by high-end armor merchants.

Best Plate Armor: Milanese Cuirass

  • Offers 134 armor rating, making it the best torso protection.

  • Can be purchased from blacksmiths in major cities or looted from high-tier enemies.

Best Gauntlets: Nuremberg Gauntlets

  • The strongest gloves (134 armor rating) available.

  • Found in Kuttenberg armor shops.

Best Leg Armor: Noble Plate Legs

  • With 134 armor rating, they provide the best leg protection.

  • Available in Kuttenberg and Trosky Castle after the Wedding Crashers quest.

Best Early-Game Armor

If you’re just starting out and need decent armor fast:

  • Head to Tachov (north of Troskowitz) – The blacksmith sells:

    • Italian Hauberk (180 Groschen)

    • Smooth Cuirass (440 Groschen)

  • Loot Bandits – Lure them to guards, let the guards kill them, then take their gear.

  • Complete "The Jaunt" side quest – Earns you the Rusty Sheet Cuirass from Blacksmith Radovan.

  • Finish the Mutt quest – Leads to a Patched Cuirass and a Broadsword inside a wolf den.

Where to Find the Best Armor

  • Kuttenberg – Best armor merchants in the game.

  • Trosky Castle – Unlocks after Wedding Crashers, has a high-tier blacksmith.

  • Bandit Camps & Battlefields – Loot fallen enemies for high-tier gear.

With these armor pieces equipped, you’ll be an unstoppable force in duels, battles, and brawls. Just make sure you have enough Groschen, because the best gear isn’t cheap!
