Can You Own a House or Property in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD2)?

Let’s get this out of the way: Sadly, no, you can’t own a house in KCD2. Not a cottage, not a hut, not even a fancy storage shed with your name on it. Henry of Skalitz may be many things—blacksmith’s son, wannabe knight, master of alchemy—but homeowner is not on the list.
Wait, What About Pribyslavitz?
Great memory! In the first game, Henry managed the village of Pribyslavitz as its bailiff. He didn’t own it, but he did boss people around and had a room with a bed—close enough, right?
In KCD2, Henry’s far from home, chasing noble drama and trying to survive. There’s no house-buying or estate-managing in sight. At most, you’ll stay at inns or “borrow” a bed. Classic Henry.
So, Will There Be Housing Later?
Maybe. Maybe not. There’s no official housing system in KCD2 right now, and Warhorse Studios hasn’t said anything about adding one in DLC. Could they? Sure. Will they? Flip a coin… We do hope so though.
What players want:
A house with blacksmithing tools, an alchemy lab, a cellar full of booze—you know, medieval luxury.
Estate management, hiring staff, farming… basically, Skyrim with more mud.
What Henry gets:
A cot.
A prayer that Pebbles doesn’t wander off.
Final Blurb
You won’t be picking out drapes or planting cabbage in KCD2 anytime soon. Henry’s too busy saving nobles and not dying to worry about real estate. Maybe in KCD3 you’ll get that farmhouse dream—but for now, your “estate” is whatever patch of ground you’re sleeping on. Live the dream... just not the homeowner dream.
