In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) your character moves by default at a running pace. To switch between running and walking you'll need to set up a key binding for this action, as it's not assigned by default. Here's how you can do it:

Open the Controls Menu:
- Press the Escape (Esc) key to access the main menu.
- Click on Controls to view the key bindings.
Set the Toggle Walk/Run Key:
- In the Controls menu, scroll to the Movement section.
- Look for the Toggle Walk/Run option.
- Click on it and press the key you want to assign for toggling between walking and running. The “/” key is what a lot of people use (due to this being the “walk” button in WoW).
Save Your Settings:
- After assigning your preferred key make sure to save or apply the changes.
