Gallery Cards Explained: Marvel Rivals

What are Gallery Cards in Marvel Rivals, you ask? Gallery Cards are collectible items that mainly serve to complete the in-game comic lore for each season. Specifically, they don't provide gameplay advantages or buffs, but they contribute to achievements and customization. Here's what they do:

  1. Comic Completion: Gallery cards help finish the story-based comics of the current season. Players can view these comics in the gallery section of the game.

  2. Achievements: Collecting all the gallery cards can unlock specific achievements. In the past, completing certain collections awarded players with exclusive nameplates and titles.

  3. Customization Rewards: Players who completed the full set of gallery cards (before a specific update) received a unique title and nameplate. However, there seems to be an issue where some of these rewards are currently marked as unobtainable in the Achievements tab, and players have requested this to be fixed.

  4. FOMO Concern: Since some gallery cards and their related rewards are time-limited, there's an element of "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO) attached to them.

If you're debating whether to spend purple credits on a gallery card, it depends on whether you care about lore, completing the in-game comic, and the possibility of future rewards if the issues get fixed. If you're more focused on gameplay, unlocking characters may be a better use of your credits.
