Miller Kreyzl has another job for you—finding a fancy book. Why a miller needs a book? Who knows. But if you want to stay in his good graces (and maybe make some Groschen), you better find it. Lucky for you, it’s not too hard. Here’s how to find the book in KCD2.

Step 1: Go to the Fortress Gate

  • Open your map and head to the fortress marked for the quest.

  • Stand right in front of the big main gate. Take a moment to admire it—it won’t help you, but hey, it’s there.

Step 2: Spot the Tower

  • Turn right from the gate.

  • Walk along the wall until you see a tower on your left—that’s where the book is.

  • Climb up the path. If Henry wheezes a little, pretend you didn’t hear it.

Step 3: Grab the Book

  • Inside the tower, you’ll see a guy named Beck Nickv. He’s just standing there, doing nothing helpful.

  • Walk around the corner behind him.

  • The Opus Magnum book is sitting there, waiting for you to take it.

Step 4: Deliver the Goods

  • With the book in hand, head back to Miller Kreyzl at Lower Semine Mill.

  • Give him the book and act like it was a dangerous mission. Maybe he’ll pay extra (he won’t).

Final Tips:

  • No enemies here, so take your time—unless you just enjoy running everywhere.

  • The book is easy to miss, but now you know exactly where to look.

  • Miller Kreyzl seems way too invested in this book—probably best not to ask why.

That’s it! Book retrieved, job done, and another weird favor for the miller checked off your list. Now go spend your well-earned Groschen.
