How to Find Sam KCD2 | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Guide

Finding Samuel is a key part of your quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. He has been captured by Brabant, who betrayed you, and you need to rescue him. Here’s how to find him.
Step 1: Get a Praguers Soldier Outfit
Before entering the camp, it’s recommended that you wear a Praguers Soldier outfit. This will prevent the guards from becoming suspicious of you. You can get the outfit by:
Killing or knocking out a guard and looting their clothes.
Finding outfits in chests around the camp, particularly in the smaller building near the western edge of the camp.
Step 2: Enter the Camp
Head to the left side of the camp from where you started the quest.
Find two guards and a trailer near the entrance to the camp. To the left, there’s an opening that leads to an area with cooking gear and sleeping spots for guards.
Go through this area and out the other side.
Look for a gate that’s partially open. This is the main path to reach Samuel’s location.
Step 3: Find Samuel
After going through the gate, you’ll spot the barn where Samuel is held. There will be a guard standing next to the barn but don’t worry about him.
Find a ladder on the left side of the barn. Climb up and drop down into the room where Samuel is being kept.
Step 4: Decide What to Do with Samuel
Once you’ve found Samuel, you have two options:
Take him to a horse immediately, or
Leave him for now and do other tasks before returning to get him.
Tip: It’s often better to leave him for now and return once you’ve found a horse. This allows you to carry him more easily.
Consequences of Saving Samuel
Saving Samuel: You’ll return to the fortress slower, and some silver will be lost, which annoys Hanush of Leipa.
Leaving Samuel: He will die, but you’ll save the silver.
