If you’ve got a collar and you’re now standing around wondering what to do with it, don’t worry, you’re not alone—mounts aren’t just handed out like free samples.

Here’s a quick guide on how to get a mount in Longvinter.

Step 1: Complete Your Compendium

Before you can actually trade your collar for a mount, you need to fully complete the corresponding compendium. This means:

  • Farming Collar → Complete the Farming Compendium (Travel to Heisala to farm it).

  • Hunting Collar → Complete the Hunting Compendium (Travel to Padva to hunt it).

  • Fishing Collar → Complete the Fishing Compendium (Travel to Koilot to fish it).

Step 2: Trade the Collar

Once you’ve completed the compendium, take the collar to the correct vendor and trade it in. Each collar type unlocks a different mount.

Step 3: Enjoy Your Ride

Congrats, you now have a mount! No more running everywhere like a lost tourist. Just don’t forget to keep an eye on its stamina—otherwise, you might be back to walking.
