Longvinter is a multiplayer open-world sandbox game that takes inspiration from Animal Crossing but adds a survival/PvP twist. If you’re wondering where you can play it, here’s the information you need.

PC (Steam) – Available Now

After three years in Early Access, Longvinter has officially launched its full version on PC via Steam. Players can dive into the game’s open-world adventure, explore islands, build homes, and fend off mercenaries while crafting and trading.

PlayStation – Coming in 2026

Developer Uuvana Studios has confirmed that Longvinter will make its way to PlayStation in 2026. The PlayStation version will also feature cross-play, so you can team up (or compete) with friends playing on PC.

What About Other Platforms?

As of now, there’s no word on whether Longvinter will come to Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or other consoles. The developers are focusing on the PlayStation launch and improving the game’s performance, especially for Steam Deck users.

For now, if you want to jump into Longvinter, Steam is your best bet (currently 40% off as of the writing of this article). PlayStation players will need to wait until 2026—but at least cross-play will make it worth the wait and bring in a lot of new players.
