How to Get King of the Dead in Marvel Rivals
Here’s a quick guide with some tips and tricks on how to get King of the Dead in Marvel Rivals:
1. Play on the Correct Map
The trophy only works on Hall of Djalia in Wakanda when the convoy is moving toward the base.
If you get the wrong map (another Wakanda mode), finish the game and try again.
2. Choose Black Panther Quickly
At the start of the match, hit skip as fast as possible to enter hero selection and lock in Black Panther before another teammate does. If someone else takes him, you’ll need to queue again.
3. Get a Triple Kill
You need to get three kills within a short time window.
You don’t have to land the final blow on all three enemies as long as you do enough damage to contribute significantly before they die.
4. Use Combos
Black Panther’s strength lies in his burst damage and ability to reset cooldowns with his Vibranium Mark. Use this general combo to burst down enemies quickly:
Spear Toss → Apply Vibranium Mark to enemies.
Spirit Rend → Deal high damage, reset cooldown if it hits a marked target.
Spinning Kick → Dash in, deal damage, and reapply the mark.
Spirit Rend again → Burst damage with cooldown reset.
Tip: If you have your ultimate ready (Bast Descent), open with it to apply Vibranium Marks to multiple enemies, then follow with the combo above.
5. Focus on Priority Targets
Go after DPS and healer characters first, as they have low health and can be eliminated quickly.
Avoid fighting tanks unless they are already low on health or you’ve already gotten two kills and just need one more.
6. Time Your Engagement
Wait for enemies to engage your team, then flank or dive into the backline when their abilities are on cooldown.
Try to hit grouped enemies with your Spear Toss and follow up with Spirit Rend to quickly rack up damage across multiple opponents.
Additional Tips
Controller Sensitivity: Increase your sensitivity for faster turning when dashing around enemies.
Stay Mobile: Use Black Panther’s Subtle Step to climb walls and avoid getting focused.
Stick with Your Team: You’re less likely to get picked off early, and teammates can help you finish kills if you’ve already dealt enough damage.
This strategy requires patience due to map RNG and character locking by teammates, but keep at it, and you’ll get the trophy!
