If you're tired of waddling back to base because you're carrying too much, the Leggings of Lightness are exactly what you need. These stylish, slightly tattered pants boost your carry weight by 50, making gathering runs a lot less painful. The best part? You can grab them super early in the game.

Where to Find the Leggings of Lightness

You’ll be heading to Temple Woods—yes, right near the starting area. Here’s how to get them:

  1. Teleport to Temple Woods
If you’ve already placed a lodestone elsewhere, no worries. You can fast travel back to Temple Woods easily.

  2. Head to the Windmill
On your map, look for the windmill. That’s your destination. Once there, you’ll notice a bunch of annoying Giant Rats hanging around. Do yourself a favor—clear them out before attempting the next step.

  3. Use Windstep
You’ll need the Windstep spell to reach the chest holding the vestige for the leggings. There are a few spots where it looks like you can make the jump, but you’ll fall short. The trick is to stand right next to the chest’s ledge and aim carefully.

  4. Grab the Vestige
Once you land the Windstep, open the chest to get the Suspiciously Light Tattered Legs. This unlocks the recipe for crafting the Leggings of Lightness.

How to Craft the Leggings of Lightness

Head back to your Crafting Table and you’ll notice the recipe is cheap:

  • Rune Essence

  • Animal Hide

That’s it. A quick craft and you’re the proud owner of weight-saving fashion.

Why You Want These

  • +50 Carry Weight when equipped.

  • No combat bonuses—so don’t wear them into a fight unless you enjoy pain.

  • Perfect for gathering runs or when you’re looting everything that isn’t nailed down.

  • They’re light enough to just keep in your inventory and swap on when needed.

Final Blurb

The Leggings of Lightness are a must-have for anyone who likes hoarding resources without constant trips home. Sure, they won’t save you in combat, but when it comes to carrying half the forest on your back, these are the best pants in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Grab them early, thank yourself later.
