Sometimes, you don’t want to fight. You just want to gently remove someone from consciousness and go about your business. Whether you’re sneaking into a camp, robbing someone, or just feeling mischievous, here’s how to knock out enemies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 along with the buttons/controls.

Step 1: Crouch and Sneak Up

  • Press C (PC) or Right Stick Click (Controller) to crouch.

  • Move slowly behind your target. If you come stomping in like a warhorse, they’ll hear you.

  • If the enemy is facing the wrong way but not close enough, throw a stone (G / RB / R1) to distract them.

Step 2: Initiate the Chokehold

  • When close, press F (PC) or LT/L2 (Controller) to start a Stealth Attack.

  • A blue crossed swords icon will appear—this is your moment.

  • Press Left Click (PC) or RT/R2 (Controller) at the right time to complete the knockout.

Step 3: Recover If You Mess Up

If your timing is off:

  • The enemy will try to escape.

  • A green shield icon will appear—this is your last chance to recover with a Perfect Block (Right Click / LT/L2).

  • If you miss this, congratulations, you’ve just started a loud fight.

Bonus Tips

  • If you get spotted before the knockout, the victim will remember you when they wake up and might snitch.

  • Stealth Kills require a dagger, which you won’t have at the start of the game. Until then, stick to knocking people out non-lethally.

Final Blurb

Knocking someone out in KCD2 is a mix of skill and patience. Get too cocky, and you’ll be the one getting knocked out instead. But master it, and you’ll be quietly borrowing people’s possessions in no time.
