Making Bronze & Bronze Bars in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is one of the first big steps out of the "I live in a cave and hit stuff with bones" era. Bronze gear is tougher, shinier, and less likely to snap in half. But to get there, you’ll need two simple things: Copper and Tin. And a little bit of patience.

Where to Find Copper and Tin

You can technically find Copper and Tin in early areas... but good luck getting more than a few sad pebbles.

If you’re serious about mining, head to the Fractured Plains, which is:

  • North of Whispering Swamp

  • Full of Copper and Tin nodes

  • Not exactly beginner-friendly

Before heading there, make sure you’ve got:

The Bone Pickaxe is required to actually mine the ore, so don’t show up with a wooden stick and high hopes.

How to Make BronzeBars

Once you’ve got a healthy pile of Copper and Tin, here’s what to do:

  • Build a Furnace

    • Unlock it through basic crafting progression

    • Requires Stone and maybe a few tears

  • Drag Copper + Tin into the Furnace

    • That’s it. The magic happens inside.

    • You don’t need to smelt one before the other—just toss them in together

  • Collect your Bronze Bars

    • They pop out like toast

    • Stack them in your inventory and try not to hoard them all like a dragon

What You Can Use Bronze For

Now that you’ve made some Bronze Bars, you can:

  • Craft Bronze Tools at the Smithing Anvil

  • Repair broken gear

  • Look slightly more impressive than your bone-wielding neighbors

Bronze tools are a step up from Bone and unlock better mining, combat, and survival efficiency. They won’t make you invincible, but they will make you feel like less of a forest hermit.

Final Blurb

Bronze Bars are the beginning of your glow-up in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. With just a bit of Copper, a sprinkle of Tin, and a hot Furnace, you’re suddenly crafting real gear instead of questionable bone clubs. Just watch out for the monsters in Fractured Plains—they like Bronze too.
