How to Make it Rain in Infinity Nikki

Need rain for a quest like “Risky Photography: Bitey Bag” and it just won’t show up? Rain in Infinity Nikki is random, unreliable, and sometimes just plain broken. Here’s what we’ve have discovered about triggering rain, or at least giving it a better chance of happening.
What Doesn’t Work
Changing the time with the Pear-Pal: This only shifts the time of day, not the weather.
Teleporting to nearby areas: Often doesn’t help, and may actually reset clear weather.
Standing still for hours: Also doesn’t seem to affect weather cycles consistently.
What Sometimes Works
1. Logging Out and Back In
Logging out and then back in from the same location can eventually trigger a change in weather. The amount of tries this can take is completely random, but it should eventually work.
2. Changing Zones
Teleport to a far away region, like Abandoned Valley or Florawish, then return to your target zone. This forces the game to reload the map and might reset the weather cycle.
3. Avoid Certain Teleports
Do not teleport directly to the Dye Workshop in Stoneville. This often cancels ongoing rain, even if it just started. If you see rain starting, walk instead of fast-traveling.
4. Look for Naturally Rainy Areas
The Abandoned District and parts of the Abandoned Valley have higher rain frequency. If you’re trying to complete rain-based quests you might have more luck just progressing the story in these regions, where weather changes more often.
Bonus Tip: Try Talking to NPCs
Some players swear that approaching or talking to specific quest NPCs right before rain triggers can help. It’s not confirmed, but if you're desperate, it might be worth trying.
Final Blurb
There’s no rain dance in Infinity Nikki, just a bunch of trial, error, and frustration. Your best shot is to log in and out a few times, change zones, and absolutely avoid teleporting to areas that are known to cancel weather. Rain will come eventually… At some point!
