How to Stop Spectating in Rust

If you’re an admin or moderator in Rust and want to stop spectating a player, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Console

• Press F1 to bring up the in-game console.

Step 2: Exit Spectate Mode

• Type respawn into the console and press Enter.

• This command will exit spectate mode and respawn your character at a random location on the coastline.

While in spectate mode, many commands, including the kill command, are disabled. Using the respawn command is the correct way to leave spectate mode and return to gameplay.

Now you’re back in the action and ready to continue your Rust experience!
