Marvel Rivals Support Tier List – Best Strategist Heroes Ranked Season 1.5 Meta

Image Credit: NetEase Games, Marvel Rivals

Strategists in Marvel Rivals serve as the brains of the team, keeping allies alive while disrupting enemies. Some focus on pure healing, while others offer damage, crowd control, or team utility. The best ones can do it all—while the weaker picks might struggle to justify their spot in competitive play.

This tier list focuses on high-level play (Diamond+ ranked matches), meaning some heroes may feel stronger at lower ranks but don’t hold up at the highest levels.

Here’s a guide and tier list for all support/strategist heroes, and why they’re ranked where they are in Season 1.5.

C-Tier (Too Weak for Competitive Play)

9. Jeff the Land Shark

Jeff is adorable, but sadly, he’s the weakest Strategist in Marvel Rivals. His healing output is low, and if you try to do damage, you basically become a DPS Jeff, which nobody needs. His ultimate is strong, but it’s not enough to make him a competitive pick when every other healer offers better healing, damage, or utility. Jeff is fun but not viable at higher levels.

B-Tier (Situational Picks, Requires Effort to Shine)

8. Adam Warlock

Adam Warlock has one of the best team-utility abilities in the game with his Soul Link, keeping teammates alive even in bad fights. However, his healing is weak, and he’s the only healer in the game with a cooldown-based healing system, meaning he can literally be locked out of healing. His revive ultimate sounds amazing on paper, but in practice, you have to let your teammates die first, making it very easy for the enemy team to clean them up immediately after they respawn. He has potential in niche scenarios but struggles as a consistent support.

A-Tier (Strong, but Not Overpowered)

7. Mantis

Mantis excels in the right hands but has some issues that keep her from S-Tier. She needs to land crits to recharge her healing, which forces her to play aggressively—an unusual playstyle for a healer. If you’re hitting headshots, she’s amazing. If not, her healing suffers. She also has a solid damage boost ability, making her a strong pick for teams who coordinate their damage well.

6. Luna Snow

Luna Snow used to be S-Tier, but after healer ultimates were nerfed, she isn’t the best pick anymore unless you’re using her Namor synergy. Her ultimate is still very strong, and she provides good healing, but with better healers available, she dropped to A-Tier. If you run Namor in your squad, she still shines, but outside of that, there are better Strategists to pick.

S-Tier (Meta-Defining, Best Supports in the Game)

5. Invisible Woman

The newest addition to Marvel Rivals, Invisible Woman is already a powerhouse.

  • Her attacks pass through allies and enemies, allowing her to support from any position.

  • Her shields block enemy fire while letting her team push forward safely.

  • Her force push/pull ability can displace enemies, knocking them off high ground or securing kills.

  • Her ultimate not only heals but blocks enemy healers from supporting teammates within its radius, making it a game-changing support ability.

She has limited long-range power, but her mobility and shields more than make up for it.

4. Loki

Loki is one of the most annoying supports to deal with—which is why he’s S-Tier.

  • His immortality field protects teammates, forcing enemies to destroy floating runes before dealing damage.

  • His ultimate is arguably the best in the game, since it lets him steal another hero’s ultimate, adapting to any situation.

  • He’s hard to kill, constantly teleporting, disappearing, and causing chaos.

A good Loki can carry games, keeping allies alive while disrupting enemies with sheer trickery.

3. Rocket Raccoon

Rocket is one of the best supports right now for one big reason:
His revive station is better than a healing ultimate.

Unlike Adam Warlock’s slow, unreliable revive, Rocket can instantly bring back an ally at full health, which is game-changing in overtime fights and clutch moments.

  • His long-range healing keeps him safe while he dishes out 250 DPS, making him a rare healer that can actually win duels.

  • If you play him right, he’s impossible to ignore—and his win rate reflects that.

2. Cloak & Dagger

The most popular healer in the game, Cloak & Dagger excel at both healing and damage.

  • Cloak’s veil hides teammates, protecting them from damage and even certain ultimates.

  • Dagger’s health dome provides healing while letting her deal damage, meaning she’s always doing something useful.

  • Cloak’s lock-on attack secures kills, making him a threat even while healing.

A coordinated team will get the most out of them, but even solo players can make them work.

1. Groot

Groot does it all—he heals, protects, and completely controls the battlefield.

  • His Thornlash walls block damage and deal 60 damage per hit.

  • Ironwood heals Groot while allies deal damage nearby, meaning he’s one of the tankiest supports in the game.

  • His Spore Bomb deals AoE damage, giving him decent offensive power.

  • His ultimate traps enemies, setting them up for easy team wipes.

Groot is the best support right now because he’s more than a healer—he actively controls fights.

Final Thoughts

  • If you want the strongest meta picks, go with Groot, Cloak & Dagger, Rocket Raccoon, Loki, or Invisible Woman.

  • If you prefer a traditional healer, Luna Snow and Mantis are good but not as dominant.

  • Adam Warlock and Jeff the Land Shark struggle, but Warlock at least has some potential.

Right now, the best supports do more than just heal—they control fights, revive allies, and disrupt enemies. If you’re playing ranked, stick to S-Tier picks unless you’re comfortable playing around the weaknesses of lower-tier heroes.
