Mewgenics Guillotina Boss Fight Guide
Guillotina is the first House Boss in Mewgenics and she hits hard, has massive HP, and introduces multi phase mechanics that can wipe careless teams. You get 7 days to prepare before she attacks the house, so bring retired high level cats with strong skills. The fight has 3 parts across the campaign, and each one escalates.
Here is how to beat every Guillotina encounter.
Guillotina Part 1 Strategy
Stats
400 HP, 5 STR, 3 SPD, 5 LCK
Guillotina takes up 4 tiles and starts with Trample. She walks into melee range and uses random attacks.
Main threats
Toss throws units diagonally until they hit a wall
Inhale pulls a unit up to 10 tiles away
Spit ejects inhaled units
Leap deals damage and knockback
At half HP she enrages and gains 100 max HP
If she Swallows a unit in phase two behavior, that cat can be digested and permanently killed.
How to win
Stack Bleed and Burn to cut through her massive HP
Confusion is extremely strong because she can damage herself
Do not let squishy cats stand adjacent without protection
Keep positioning tight to avoid diagonal Toss angles
If swallowed, use Flail immediately to escape
This is an endurance fight. Damage over time is your best friend.
Reward
Throbbing Gristle quest item
Guillotina Part 2 Strategy
Stats
Body 250 HP, 8 STR, 1 SPD, 5 LCK
Head 250 HP, 4 STR, 5 SPD, 5 LCK
Now she splits. The head becomes the main threat.
Head behavior
Rolls around aggressively
Uses wide linear attacks
Causes heavy Knockback
When you destroy the head, the body restores 100 HP.
How to win
Focus the head first
Watch positioning to avoid long knockback lines
Keep your backline protected from rolling attacks
Prepare for HP restoration when head dies
Do not ignore the body, but the head controls the fight.
Reward
Putrid Leech quest item
Guillotina Part 3 Strategy
Stats
Body 400 HP, 0 STR, 2 SPD, 5 LCK
Head 200 HP, 5 STR, 0 SPD, 5 LCK
Now the head and body are separate units with linked mechanics.
Body
Low speed
No attack
Attempts to reconnect with head
Head
Cannot move
Deals damage
Becomes deadly when reattached
When they reattach, Guillotina uses Shriek, applying Poison and Hex to the entire team.
Poison drains HP. Hex increases mana costs. This can spiral fast.
If you destroy the head, the body begins summoning a miniboss.
How to win
Use Knockback to keep body and head separated
Psychic push and pull abilities are extremely strong here
Avoid letting them reconnect
If you kill the head, prepare for a summoned miniboss
Manage Poison carefully and finish quickly
This phase is about control, not raw damage.
Reward
Guillotina’s Head quest item

Unlocking The Throbbing Domain
The quest items from Guillotina are required to unlock the Throbbing Domain secret zone.
After clearing Caves or Boneyard and completing the progression chain, you can access the Throbbing Domain and fight the Throbbing King.
Guillotina is not optional if you want full Act 1 progression.
Final Blurb
Guillotina is a multi phase House Boss with high HP, swallow mechanics, knockback pressure, and poison based late phase control. Part 1 is endurance, Part 2 is head control, and Part 3 is separation management.
Bring DOT, bring control, and never let the head and body reunite in the final phase.
She is your first real house check.
