OSRS Grid Master Slayer Master Relic & Training Guide

OSRS Grid Master Slayer Master Relic & Training Guide
Old School RuneScape (OSRS)

Slayer in Grid Master runs smoother than ever. The Slayer Master relic makes nearly every monster count as “on task,” turning normal fights into huge XP boosts and constant Slayer Helmet damage bonuses.

How Slayer Training Works in Grid Master

You unlock Slayer Master through grid progress and boss tasks. Once active, it makes almost every monster in the game count as an on-task target. You still need to wear a Slayer Helmet or any gear that acts as one, like the Battlehat, but the relic removes the need for manual assignments.

From that point on, bosses like Scurrius, Bryophyta, and even God Wars creatures all benefit from the Slayer Helmet’s 15 percent accuracy and damage boost.

Early Slayer Progress

Before unlocking Slayer Master, link Slayer with another skill through a Gatherer relic. The best links are Thieving, Agility, or Hunter since they share passive XP from other activities.

Start by fighting low-level monsters like Hill Giants or Crawling Hands to clear a few Slayer tiles early. If you already have Dodgy Deals, pickpocketing will level both Thieving and Slayer together.

You can also gain Slayer XP passively using the Lumbridge Fountain loop with Sage’s Greaves. Each tick of stamina and running adds XP to linked skills like Slayer, Agility, and Hunter.

Mid Game Slayer Leveling

Once you’re around level 50 Slayer with Combatant relics active, start fighting bosses for fast XP bursts. Scurrius, Bryophyta, and Kalphite Queen all count as Slayer monsters and unlock higher Combat Mastery tiers when defeated.

Use an imbued Slayer Helmet for full bonuses. These bosses also benefit from Grid Master’s 8x drop rate multiplier, making them great money and XP sources.

Link Slayer with Combatant relics to train Melee, Magic, or Ranged at the same time. Since you’re always on task, every kill feeds multiple skills at once.

Late Game Slayer Setup

After unlocking Slayer Master, all eligible enemies count as on-task permanently. You can farm bosses like Vorkath, Leviathan, or God Wars for full Slayer Helmet buffs every fight.

If you’re running Golden God, your Prayer stays infinite. You can use chaos altars above Falador, ZMI, or Goblin Village for 350 percent XP boosts while keeping combat buffs up forever.

Stack Combatant relics with Golden God for perfect sustain and fast XP. You’ll hit 99 Slayer naturally while farming for uniques and relic points.

Final Blurb

The Slayer Master relic turns Slayer into one of the best all-around skills in Grid Master. It removes the need for tasks, makes every monster on-task, and stacks perfectly with other relics for massive XP and gold. Once unlocked, you’ll never have to think about assignments again.
