The Mice & Frogs quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 boil down to one thing: medieval pranks on a village-wide scale. Tachov and Zhelejov hate each other, and both Prochek and Olbram want you to make the other side look foolish. The question is, whose side do you take?
Can You Help Both Prochek and Olbram?
Yes, to an extent. You can complete most of the tasks for both sides, but the petty rivalry has no happy ending. Eventually, you will need to choose which village gets the last laugh—or shut things down entirely by exposing the schemes.
If you want to maximize rewards and see all the content, help both sides up to a point, then decide who you want to support in the final phase.
Should You Choose Prochek or Olbram?
If you’re picking a side outright, there’s no major difference in terms of rewards or consequences. It really comes down to which task sounds more entertaining.
Prochek’s task: Paint Olbram’s prized bull blue. Requires sneaking into Zhelejov and brewing a Lullaby Potion to knock out the bull.
Olbram’s task: Steal Tachov’s maypole. Requires tricking the guard or knocking him out, then chopping down the maypole.
In terms of difficulty, Prochek’s task is slightly harder because it involves alchemy and a bit more setup, whereas Olbram’s maypole theft is a quick stealth mission. If you want an easier time, Olbram is the better pick.
How to Complete Prochek’s Mice Quest
Talk to Prochek in Tachov to start the quest.
Buy dye from Bartoshek the tailor in Troskowitz.
Get the Lullaby Potion by working for Radovan the blacksmith or convincing him to give you the recipe.
Brew the potion (ingredients: oil, poppy, thistle).
Travel to Zhelejov and pour the potion into the bull’s trough to make it fall asleep.
Paint the bull blue and return to Prochek.
At this point, you can double-cross Prochek and help Olbram instead—or continue tormenting Zhelejov.
How to Complete Olbram’s Frogs Quest
Find Old Olbram near the meadow in Zhelejov and agree to steal the Tachov maypole.
Go to Tachov at night. The maypole is guarded by Henrik.
Either knock Henrik out or charm him into leaving by setting him up on a date with Manka.
Once Henrik leaves, climb up and chop the maypole down.
Return to Olbram for your reward.
Olbram will then give you one more task:
Chase the sheep out of a pasture in Tachov.
Deliver a digestive potion to Alshik.
At this point, you can either keep going with Olbram’s plan or tell Prochek about the scheme to end both quests.
Final Thoughts: Who Should You Help?
If you want the easier quest, Olbram’s maypole heist is simpler and requires no brewing.
If you like alchemy and a bit of sneaking, Prochek’s bull prank is more involved but funnier.
If you want to see it all, help both up to a point, then decide whether to let the chaos continue or shut it down. Either way, you’re not exactly doing Bohemia any favors—just stirring up some rural mischief.
