Split Fiction Factory Entrance Walkthrough (Chapter 4: Final Dawn)

In Split Fiction Chapter 4 (Final Dawn), you’ll reach the Factory Exterior about halfway through the mission. The entrance itself is locked up tight, and there’s a puzzle with moving boxes that will absolutely make you wish you stayed home. Here's how to power through it without rage-quitting.

Open Sesame: Factory Gate Puzzle

You’ll start at a big ol’ gate with red and blue panels. Here's what to do:

  • Mio shoots the red panels.

  • Zoe shoots the blue panels.

Congrats, you opened the gate. Now it’s time to deal with some classic video game nonsense: pipe platforming and a moving blade trap.

Grapple, Dodge, Repeat

Climb up the pipe and grapple left onto the platform. Then climb again. You’ll see more grapple points and—surprise—a turret that would love to ruin your day. Avoid it while grappling your way forward.

Eventually, you’ll reach red and blue platforms.

  • Mio stands on the red platform.

  • Zoe stands on the blue one.
Now shoot the matching sigils on the pipe. This spawns drones you can ride (yes, really).

Hop on a drone, glide forward, dodge some moving green bars (or don’t, but that’ll hurt), and land safely.

The Jump Pad Trick

Here’s the deal:

  • Mio stands on a jump pad.

  • Zoe shoots the blue sigil to launch Mio over to the next platform.

Mio then opens a gate for Zoe, because teamwork makes the dream work. Now you’re at the Moving Box Puzzle.

Moving Box/Container Puzzle (AKA The Headache Zone)

Here’s the sequence:

  1. Zoe plants a grenade on a moving box.

  2. Mio shoots to create a gap in the red field so the box can pass.

  3. When the box hits the blue field, Zoe detonates the grenade so Mio can get through.

  4. Then, Mio shoots another grenade at the red field, letting Zoe through.

Puzzle solved. You’re free… kind of. Next up: Node Puzzle.

Node Puzzle (This One’s Easy)

  • Mio and Zoe shoot their sigils to lift the nodes.

  • Then shoot a grenade at the yellow dot.

  • After that, shoot the sigils at the top to spawn jump pads.

And boom, the Factory Exterior section is complete. You did it. Was it worth it? Probably.

Final Blurb

This section’s not too hard—unless you’re allergic to moving platforms and timing-based puzzles. But once you get the box and node nonsense out of the way, you’re back to smooth sailing... until the next wild puzzle throws you off a drone again.
