Final Dawn is the fourth level in Split Fiction, dropping players into a massive facility producing dangerous toxins. Zoe and Mio must navigate the industrial maze, take down enemy mechs, and ultimately shut down the operation. This guide walks you through every section of the level, including key mechanics, boss fights, and side stories.
The Dropship Landing
After the opening cutscene, players freefall toward the facility. During the descent:
Avoid debris and enemy airships.
Navigate toward an open pipe while dodging moving fans.
Land in a body of water, then slide down into another pool.
Dive and head toward the door where both players must interact to proceed.
Infiltrating the Facility
Once inside, swim through the pipe and surface near two floating platforms and a ladder. This section introduces switch-based puzzles, requiring:
Shooting color-coded switches (blue for Zoe, red for Mio) to open doors.
Wall climbing and grappling hooks to reach new areas.
Mech turrets that must be destroyed before progressing.
After taking out the turrets, jump onto moving platforms, eliminate enemy mechs, and use multiple switches to lower a platform.
Shield and Energy Core Puzzles
Reaching the energy pod room, players must:

Green Laser Dome Puzzle
After reaching a large dome room:
Use Shield Busters to break holes in the dome’s shields.
Avoid sweeping green lasers, which kill on contact.
Carefully time your movements to reach the lift and activate the next cutscene.
Factory Entrance and Moving Box Puzzle
Entering the Factory Exterior, players encounter:
Spiked contraptions on metal pipes – Use grappling hooks to navigate.
Toxic vents – Close them using blasters to clear a path.
Mech balloons – Grapple onto them while avoiding lasers.
At the Moving Box Puzzle, Mio must:
Shoot a jump pad to launch Zoe across a gap.
Open a gate from the opposite side.

Test Chamber & Factory Warden Boss Fight
Inside the Test Chamber, the goal is to activate the security system by:
One player standing on a launch pad.
The other shooting a Shield Buster at the target ahead.
This triggers the Factory Warden, a massive mech boss. To defeat it:
Shoot its legs to expose switches and disable movement.
Avoid its attacks, including laser drones and flame waves.
Use grappling points to reposition quickly.
Destroy both giant switches on its body during the final phase.
Trigger the hydraulic press to deliver the final blow.
The Escape: Jetpacks & Side Stories
After the boss, players acquire jetpacks, introducing vertical movement:
Hold jump to boost (but fuel is limited).

Before escaping, players can access a side story inside Zoe’s hand-drawn notebook:
