No, Avowed is not available on PS5 at launch. As of now, the game is only playable on Xbox Series X/S and PC. However, with Xbox's recent shift toward releasing exclusives on other platforms, there is a chance Avowed could come to PS5 in the future.
Could Avowed Come to PS5 Later?
There has been no official confirmation from Microsoft, Obsidian Entertainment, or Xbox about a PS5 version of Avowed. However, Xbox leadership has stated that bringing games to a wider audience is part of their long-term strategy.
Obsidian's next game, The Outer Worlds 2, is launching on PS5 alongside Xbox and PC, which suggests that future Obsidian titles may also be multi-platform.
In a recent interview, Avowed’s director, Carrie Patel, gave a knowing smile and nod when asked about a possible PS5 release, fueling speculation.
Xbox Game Studios head Craig Duncan mentioned in an official podcast that Xbox is open to expanding its exclusives, saying, "It's good for gamers and good for our studios."
These hints suggest a PS5 port is possible, but nothing is confirmed.
