CONTROL Resonant Achievements Guide

CONTROL Resonant has a much broader achievement list than simply finishing the main path. Progression systems, Zone upgrades, FBC Tasks, Artifacts, Aberrant Forms, hidden locations, optional activities, and several very specific combat feats all feed into the full completion. Going for 100% is therefore easier if you know which counters should be building in the background before you start cleaning up individual achievements.

There Are 49 Achievements Worth 1,000 Gamerscore

At launch, CONTROL Resonant has 49 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox and Windows.

The list ranges from straightforward first-time unlocks such as obtaining an Aberrant or crafting an Artifact all the way to much larger goals like unlocking 40 Zone Upgrades, completing 20 FBC Tasks, crafting 30 Artifacts, reaching level 5 in every Zone, and finishing entire sets of optional activities.

There are also several achievements that ask for one very specific action rather than overall completion, including three Perfect Dodges in under six seconds, keeping Dominance active for 60 seconds, and visiting the Gap three times in under five minutes.

A Better 100% Route Is to Build the Big Counters First

I wouldn't approach this as a 49-item checklist from the opening hour. Several achievements clearly reward cumulative progression, so the cleaner route is to keep those moving while completing the rest of the game.

CONTROL Resonant 100% Roadmap
1. Keep investing in Talents, Artifacts, Zone upgrades, Health, Power, and Aberrant progression as you play.
2. Complete FBC Tasks and optional Manhattan activities instead of leaving all of them for the end.
3. Deal with Resonant encounters, Fault Rituals, Thresholds, Mold Incidents, Secret Hideouts, and Sketchbook instances as they become available.
4. Leave highly specific combat and movement achievements for deliberate cleanup once the related abilities are unlocked.

The achievement list provided does not identify missable achievements, difficulty-specific achievements, or an estimated completion time, so I wouldn't label any of them that way without additional confirmation.

These Are the Achievements You Should Be Building Toward All Game

A large chunk of the list rewards cumulative upgrades or completing entire activity sets. These are the ones I would keep in mind throughout the playthrough rather than trying to brute-force all of them at the end.

Long-Term Completion Goals
Astral Potency — Reach Aberrant Strength 100.
Versatile Expert — Unlock 30 Talents.
Personal Development — Obtain 4 Health Upgrades.
Zone Warden — Unlock 40 Zone Upgrades.
Astral — Obtain 4 Power Upgrades.
Paranatural Artisan — Craft 30 Artifacts.
Diligent Consultant — Complete 20 FBC Tasks.
Form Over Function — Obtain 12 outfit items.
Sibling Reunion — Complete all Fault Rituals.
Threshold Researcher — Deal with all the Thresholds in Manhattan.
Work-Life Balance — Complete all instances of the Sketchbook.
Backroom Espionage — Visit all the Secret Hideouts.
Budding Mycologist — Deal with the major Mold Incidents in Manhattan.
Astral Adept — Max-out any Aberrant Form.
Field Control — Reach level 5 in every Zone.

Zone Warden, Field Control, Diligent Consultant, Paranatural Artisan, and Versatile Expert are especially good examples of achievements that are easier to make progress toward continuously. If you're already upgrading Zones, crafting Artifacts, completing Tasks, and spending progression resources, you're reducing the size of the endgame cleanup without needing a separate grind later.

Several Achievements Are Tied Directly to Resonant Encounters and Links

CONTROL Resonant also has a clear set of achievements tied to specific Resonant encounters and the game's Link systems. Their descriptions are much more direct, so the objective is largely knowing that each named location or Link has an achievement attached to it.

Resonant Encounters & Links
Repeating, Refracting — Kill the Hedron.
Stop it at the Source — Sever all the Hedron Links.
The First Link — Sever the first Pattern Link.
Honorable Discharge — Kill the Resonant in the Unknown.
Astral Reconfiguration — Kill the Resonant in the Underpass.
Insidious Growth — Kill the Resonant in the Park.
Thermal Termination — Kill the Resonant in Central.
Curtain Fall — Kill the Resonant in the West Incursion Zone.
Artistic Liberation — Kill the Resonant in Downtown.

The location-specific Resonant achievements are worth tracking separately because the list names six different areas: the Unknown, Underpass, Park, Central, West Incursion Zone, and Downtown.

The Optional Stuff Covers Much More Than Standard Side Missions

Some of the more distinctive achievements sit outside raw combat progression. There are character-related objectives, FBC work, the Mural, karaoke, Altered Items, SHÜM!, and even gaining a furry friend.

Side Content & FBC Objectives
Graffiti Artist — Complete the Mural in the Gap.
Enemy of My Enemy — Help with the CFD.
Rescue Mission — Rescue Arish.
Panopticon Intern — Contain Altered Items and help Langston.
Be What You Want to Be — Save everyone during karaoke.
Budding Analyst — Help Pope finish her research.
Dog's Best Friend — Gain a furry friend.
SHÜM! — Play a level in SHÜM!
Up to the Task — Complete a World Feat.
FBC Recruit — Complete an FBC Task.

Be What You Want to Be stands out because its requirement isn't simply to participate in karaoke; it specifically says to save everyone during it. Likewise, Panopticon Intern requires both dealing with Altered Items and helping Langston.

A Lot of the Early Achievements Come From Testing Every Progression System

Another group is essentially a tour through CONTROL Resonant's character-building systems. You need to interact with Talents, Combat Abilities, Artifacts, Aberrant upgrades, Zone levels, outfits, finishers, Health, and Power at least once before the larger cumulative achievements take over.

Build & Progression Achievements
Combat Rediness — Equip a Combat Ability in every slot.
Paranatural Craftsman — Equip 3 Artifacts.
Out of Uniform — Equip an outfit item in every customization slot.
Core Competency — Obtain a Health Upgrade or Power Upgrade.
Field Work — Reach level 3 in any Zone.
Finalization Protocol — Unlock a Combo Finisher.
Paranatural Apprentice — Craft an Artifact.
Promising Recruit — Unlock a Talent.
Astral Construction — Purchase an Aberrant Upgrade.
Parautilitarian — Obtain your first Combat Ability.
Assigned to Accept — Obtain Aberrant.

These naturally feed into the larger achievements. Crafting one Artifact leads toward Paranatural Artisan's 30, one Talent begins the road to Versatile Expert's 30, and reaching level 3 in one Zone is only an early checkpoint compared with eventually getting every Zone to level 5.

Four Achievements Need Very Specific Execution

The last group is different because simply completing content won't necessarily trigger them. Each asks you to perform a defined combat or movement condition.

Combat & Movement Challenges
Psychic Domination — Command a Breaker enemy.
Intense Precision — Keep Dominance active for 60 seconds.
Paranatural Agility — Perform 3 Perfect Dodges in less than 6 seconds.
Love to Deep Dive — Visit the Gap 3 times in less than 5 minutes.

Paranatural Agility is probably the clearest example of something worth isolating for cleanup. Three Perfect Dodges inside six seconds is a much narrower condition than simply using dodge throughout normal combat.

Intense Precision is similar. It doesn't ask you to activate Dominance once; the effect has to remain active for a full 60 seconds. Love to Deep Dive likewise turns visiting the Gap into a timed sequence rather than a normal exploration milestone.

The Full List Adds Up to 49

Across the five groups above, the launch achievement set breaks down into 15 long-term completion goals, 9 Resonant and Link objectives, 10 side-content achievements, 11 progression achievements, and 4 specific skill challenges.

That gives CONTROL Resonant its full 49-achievement, 1,000-Gamerscore list without treating every objective the same way. The best completion route is to let the large counters advance while you clear Manhattan, then circle back for anything with a narrow trigger once you have the abilities and progression needed to attempt it cleanly.
