Halloween The Game: How to Prestige
Prestige in Halloween The Game is a little more confusing than simply filling an XP bar and pressing a reset button. The game separates Profile, Killer, Civilian, and Weapon progression, and reaching the required level only unlocks the next part of the Prestige process. You still have to complete a Prestige Challenge before the Prestige actually goes through.

How to Prestige in Halloween The Game
To Prestige your Profile in Halloween The Game, you first need to reach Profile Level 100. Hitting Level 100 does not immediately give you Prestige 1, though. It unlocks the Prestige process, which then requires you to complete a timed Prestige Challenge.
Only one Prestige Challenge can be attempted at once. Complete that challenge successfully and you can move forward with the Prestige. If you fail it, you will need to spend additional Perk Points to make another attempt.
That second step is the part I would pay the most attention to. It is easy to assume Level 100 itself is the finish line, but it is really the requirement that gets you through the door. The Prestige Challenge is the actual test you still need to clear.
What Level Do You Need to Prestige?
The confirmed requirement for Profile Prestige 1 is Profile Level 100.
Make sure you are looking at your Profile Level rather than one of the other numbers in the progression menu. Halloween The Game tracks Profile, Killer, Civilian, and Weapon XP separately, so having Michael, a Civilian, or a weapon at a high level does not mean your Profile has reached the Prestige requirement.
Your Profile Level is the account-wide progression track. XP earned through different parts of the game contributes toward it, including playing Civilians, playing Michael, and story content.
That makes Profile Level the number I would watch if your immediate goal is getting Profile Prestige 1. Character and weapon progression can advance alongside it, but they are separate systems.
You Still Have to Complete a Prestige Challenge
Once Profile Level 100 is reached, Prestige becomes an attempt rather than an automatic reward. The game gives you a timed Prestige Challenge that must be completed successfully.
You cannot stack several of these challenges at once. Only one Prestige Challenge can be active at a time, so it is worth treating the attempt more seriously than a normal passive challenge that can quietly progress in the background.
If you fail, the game does not simply give you unlimited free retries. Another attempt costs Perk Points, which means reaching Level 100 with an empty Perk Point balance can create an unnecessary extra grind before you can try again.
My approach would be to stop aggressively spending Perk Points once Prestige is close. A slightly better perk roll matters a lot less when the alternative is having enough currency available to immediately retry a failed Prestige Challenge.
Why Prestige May Not Be Working
If you have reached the required level but the Prestige Challenge is giving you an error, refusing to unlock, or otherwise not progressing, you may not be missing a secret requirement.
Players around launch have reported exactly that problem, including Prestige attempts producing errors even after substantial progression. There have also been reports of weapon Prestige and other challenge-related progression failing to register correctly.
So if you are already at the correct Profile Level and the Prestige screen itself is malfunctioning, I would avoid endlessly grinding unrelated levels hoping another hidden condition will suddenly fix it. The problem may simply be a progression bug.
It is still worth checking that the number you have maxed is actually your Profile Level, because Halloween The Game presents several progression tracks at the same time. If Profile Level 100 is confirmed and the challenge still cannot be started, that is when I would suspect the Prestige system itself rather than your progression.
Profile Prestige Is Separate From Killer, Civilian, and Weapon Progression
A lot of the confusion around Prestige comes from Halloween The Game having several XP tracks visible at once.
Profile Level is account-wide. Killer Level advances from playing Michael. Civilian Level belongs to the individual Civilian you are using, and Weapon Level belongs to the specific Michael weapon being leveled.
Because several of these can increase during the same match, it is easy to see a high number somewhere in the progression menu and assume it is the one Prestige is checking.
For example, playing Michael can advance your Profile, Killer, and equipped weapon progression together. Playing a Civilian can advance your Profile while also leveling that specific Civilian. Those tracks are connected through the matches you play, but they are not interchangeable.
The confirmed Profile Prestige requirement is Level 100. If you are specifically trying to Prestige Michael, a Civilian, or a weapon for a particular cosmetic or reward, make sure you are looking at that progression category rather than assuming the Profile requirement applies to everything.
Save Some Perk Points Before You Try to Prestige
Perk Points are normally easy to think of as Civilian-build currency because they can be spent on perk rolls and temporary upgrades. Prestige gives them another purpose.
A failed Prestige Challenge requires more Perk Points before another attempt, so the value of that currency changes dramatically once you are close to the Prestige requirement.
Early in progression, spending points on creating a useful perk collection makes sense. Near Level 100, I would start keeping a reserve instead of emptying the balance every time you can afford another roll.
There is no benefit to reaching the Prestige screen faster if one failed attempt immediately sends you back to grinding currency. Go into Level 100 with enough flexibility to retry, make sure you are using the correct progression track, and then focus on clearing the timed Prestige Challenge rather than continuing to grind levels that no longer matter for Profile Prestige 1.
