Minecraft Dungeons 2 All Bosses List

Minecraft Dungeons 2 All Bosses List

Minecraft Dungeons 2 has a much larger boss roster than what was clear before release, ranging from returning Monstrosities to entirely new Sift encounters and Soul Corrupted versions of familiar enemies. This guide is still a work in progress as of September 29, 2026: the game launched today, the current boss index is still being updated, and I'm only including encounters with enough evidence to reasonably place them here rather than filling gaps with guesses.

Launch-Day WIP
• This boss list was updated September 29, 2026
• Minecraft Dungeons 2 launched today
• Some classifications are still being verified
• Boss mechanics and locations are only included when confirmed
• Uncertain names are separated instead of counted as confirmed bosses

Current Minecraft Dungeons 2 Boss List

The current launch-day working list has 11 main boss names, plus five Soul Corrupted boss versions that are also being filed as bosses. There are another five enemies that are better separated as mini-bosses.

I'm keeping those groups separate because simply combining every enemy with a boss-style encounter into one giant number makes the list less useful, especially while the game is still being documented.

Main Bosses
• Twisted Warden
• Copper Monstrosity
• Redstone Monstrosity
• Sculk Monstrosity
• Monarch
• Harmonizer
• Prime Enchanter
• Supreme Evoker
• Grand Illusioner
• Wandering Witch
• Monstrous Opus

That list may still change as more players finish the campaign and the current boss documentation catches up with the release build.

The Sift Has Three Known Bosses

The Sift has its own group of major boss encounters: the Monarch, Sculk Monstrosity, and Harmonizer.

Sift Bosses
• Monarch
• Sculk Monstrosity
• Harmonizer

The Monarch is particularly worth clarifying because the fight also introduces the Monarch Echo. The Echo appears during the encounter when the Monarch splits, but I'm counting the Monarch and Monarch Echo as one boss fight rather than artificially inflating the list with a second entry.

The Sculk Monstrosity is also a real boss name, not just a placeholder I'm using for an unidentified creature. It has its own documented entry and appears in the A Monstrosity in the Meadow quest.

Harmonizer completes the currently known Sift trio. I wouldn't assign additional mechanics, phases, or exact locations within the dimension beyond what has been verified yet.

The Other Main Bosses Span the Campaign

Outside of grouping the three known Sift bosses together, the safest way to handle the remaining roster right now is individually. Several names are firmly established, while detailed fight information is still being documented.

Other Main Bosses
• Twisted Warden
• Copper Monstrosity
• Redstone Monstrosity
• Prime Enchanter
• Supreme Evoker
• Grand Illusioner
• Wandering Witch
• Monstrous Opus

Twisted Warden should not be confused with the standard Warden, which is currently better classified as a mini-boss.

The same distinction matters for the Monstrosities. Copper Monstrosity, Redstone Monstrosity, and Sculk Monstrosity are separate boss encounters rather than alternate names for one enemy.

Grand Illusioner is also included in this guide. Earlier boss information wasn't always consistent about whether to count it, but the current boss material and the actual game support keeping it on the working list.

Monstrous Opus is the final boss entry on the current campaign list. I'm deliberately not adding detailed final-fight mechanics here until those are properly verified rather than working backward from clips or incomplete launch-day information.

Soul Corrupted Enemies Also Have Boss Versions

Minecraft Dungeons 2 also uses Soul Corrupted versions of several enemies as boss encounters.

These aren't being folded into the ordinary versions in this guide because the current boss listings treat the Soul Corrupted forms separately.

Soul Corrupted Boss Versions
• Soul Corrupted Witch
• Soul Corrupted Dartback
• Soul Corrupted Evoker
• Soul Corrupted Harmonizer
• Soul Corrupted Enderman

Of these, Soul Corrupted Witch and Soul Corrupted Evoker currently have some of the clearest additional evidence as actual fights, while the wider boss index includes all five.

I would still treat this particular category as one of the areas most likely to evolve as launch-day documentation improves. A Soul Corrupted enemy existing in the game isn't automatically enough for me to call it a boss; the five above are here because they're specifically being classified that way.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 Mini-Bosses Are Separate From the Main List

There are also familiar enemies that can function as mini-boss encounters without being counted alongside the main boss roster.

Known Mini-Bosses
• Dartback
• Enderman
• Evoker
• Warden
• Witch

This is also why names such as Twisted Warden and Soul Corrupted Enderman aren't redundant. Minecraft Dungeons 2 can use the normal enemy as a mini-boss while giving a distinct version its own boss classification elsewhere.

I'm Not Counting Mosstrosity or Storm Generator Yet

There are two additional names floating around that I don't think belong in the confirmed boss count yet: Mosstrosity and Storm Generator.

Mosstrosity appears in datamined material, including a listed health value, but I haven't found enough support from the current game documentation or guides to treat it like the established bosses above.

Storm Generator has appeared on a boss list, but its classification is even less clear. It could be an actual encounter, a boss-adjacent entity, or some kind of hazard or mechanic.

Not Counted Yet
• Mosstrosity — datamined, but not sufficiently verified as a live boss encounter
• Storm Generator — listed in boss material, but exact classification remains unclear

I'd rather have the boss total temporarily be conservative than include every datamined or loosely classified name and have to walk it back later.

This Boss List Will Change as More Encounters Are Verified

Launch day is the worst time to pretend a boss list is permanently complete. Players are still moving through the campaign and the Sift, while community documentation is being edited around what people are actually finding in the release build.

I'll update this list as the remaining classifications settle, especially if Mosstrosity or Storm Generator can be verified, additional Soul Corrupted bosses appear, or another encounter turns up later in the campaign.

For now, I would treat the 11-name main list, five Soul Corrupted boss versions, and five mini-bosses above as the working roster rather than a promise that Minecraft Dungeons 2 contains nothing else.

If you're preparing a build for the harder encounters, the Minecraft Dungeons 2 Enchantments guide covers the current enchantment effects, Tier I–III scaling, Enchantment Books, and which effects fit different playstyles.
