Moon Sweepers Express Dock Guide

Express Dock is a $900 Logistics upgrade in Moon Sweepers that cuts deposit time in half, making resource deliveries considerably faster. It's the final upgrade in the Logistics branch, but you'll need to unlock Rapid Transfer III and Throw Assist I before you can purchase it. Here's how the upgrade works and whether it's worth the investment.

How to Unlock Express Dock in Moon Sweepers

Express Dock is available through the Logistics branch of the Upgrade Matrix. Before purchasing it, you must have the following upgrades:

  • Rapid Transfer III (Level 3)
  • Throw Assist I (Level 1)
  • $900 available for Express Dock itself

Once both prerequisites are completed, you can purchase Express Dock for $900. It only has one level, so there are no additional Express Dock tiers to upgrade afterward.

It's also a capstone upgrade, meaning nothing else in the Upgrade Matrix requires Express Dock as a prerequisite. If you're working toward another branch, you don't need to purchase this upgrade to unlock it.

How Much Faster Are Deposits With Express Dock?

Express Dock reduces deposit time by another 50% on top of your existing Rapid Transfer improvements.

With Rapid Transfer III and Express Dock both unlocked, your total deposit time reduction reaches approximately 78.91% compared to the unupgraded baseline.

How the Speed Bonuses Stack

The two upgrades don't simply add their percentage reductions together. Express Dock halves the deposit time remaining after Rapid Transfer has already reduced it.

For example, consider a deposit that originally takes 10 seconds:

Upgrade Setup Deposit Time
No deposit speed upgrades 10 seconds
Rapid Transfer III About 4.22 seconds
Rapid Transfer III + Express Dock About 2.11 seconds

These are illustrative times based on the upgrade percentages, not fixed deposit durations. The useful distinction is that Express Dock cuts your already-improved deposit time in half rather than removing another 50 percentage points from the original.

Is Express Dock Worth Buying?

Express Dock is worth considering if depositing resources takes up a noticeable portion of your routine. Its benefit becomes more meaningful when you're making frequent deliveries, since every completed deposit takes less time.

However, the $900 investment only improves deposit speed. It doesn't increase the amount of material you collect or change the value of what you sell.

I'd prioritize Express Dock once you're regularly depositing large amounts of material and already have the required upgrades. At that point, cutting the remaining deposit time in half is a useful convenience rather than an upgrade you're buying just to unlock something else.

If your immediate priority is collecting more resources or improving production, other upgrades may provide more value first. Express Dock is best treated as a finishing upgrade for an established Logistics setup.
