Best Weapons to Use in Queen's Domain
My approach to choosing weapons is to prioritize what each one adds to your available options. Since your Power Meter affects melee damage, attacking faster doesn't automatically mean dealing more damage. Defensive abilities, damage types, and rechargeable special attacks can be just as valuable.
These are the weapons I'd prioritize among the currently documented options.
Holy Sword Endu: Best for Overall Progression
Holy Sword Endu is one of the most important weapons to obtain because its Wind Dash ability changes how you explore the island.
You acquire it after defeating the Shrine Guardian at the Endu Shrine. Its special attack lets you dash through the air, crossing gaps and reaching previously inaccessible platforms.
As you collect Wind Gems, you gain additional dash charges. The sword also has a progression path that leads to Soul Bound Endu.
I'd prioritize Endu even if another weapon becomes your preferred choice for combat. Its movement abilities are essential for reaching parts of the island, and Wind Dash remains available when another melee weapon is active.
Azure Torch: Best for Exploration and Ranged Magic
Azure Torch is one of the most versatile weapons because it provides illumination, magical attacks, and access to certain environmental mechanisms.
Its secondary attack launches an Azure Flame fireball. The weapon can store two charges, which replenish over time while it remains equipped, even if you aren't actively holding it.
That makes it especially useful in a three-weapon setup. You can fight with another weapon while the torch prepares its next ranged attack.
You'll find Azure Torch at the entrance to the Tower of Knowledge, held by a gargoyle statue. It's also required to light the gargoyle beacons associated with opening the tower.
Spiked Buckler: Best for Defensive Combat
Spiked Buckler offers something most weapons don't: a dedicated parry.
Its secondary attack reduces incoming damage and allows you to counterattack. It also combines Impact and Pierce damage, making it useful against different enemy resistances.
You can purchase Spiked Buckler from the merchant for 33 Ancient Coins.
I'd recommend it for difficult melee encounters where surviving an enemy's attack matters more than dealing maximum damage with every swing.
Diamond Blade: Best for Strong Individual Hits
Diamond Blade has 16 Power and deals both Slash and Impact damage. Its biggest strength is straightforward melee damage rather than a complicated special ability.
The tradeoff is its slow attack speed. However, Queen's Domain rewards deliberate attacks with a recovered Power Meter, so slower weapons can still work well when used at the right moment.
Diamond Blade costs 25 Ancient Coins from the merchant.
I'd consider it a strong choice for players who prefer waiting for openings and delivering heavier strikes instead of relying on rapid combinations.
Vampiric Scimitar: Best for Recovering Health
Vampiric Scimitar stands out because its normal attacks drain health from enemies, providing a way to recover while fighting.
Its secondary attack deals stronger damage but temporarily reduces your maximum health, creating a tradeoff between offense and survivability.
You can purchase it for 42 Ancient Coins.
The health recovery makes it appealing during longer encounters, although I'd be careful with its secondary attack when your remaining health is already low.
Rusted Spear: Best Early Game Weapon
Rusted Spear is my preferred early weapon because its secondary attack combines a stab with a backward dash.
This gives you a way to attack and create distance in the same movement, which is especially useful against enemies with dangerous close-range attacks.
You can find it in a ruined tower near the Knight's Encampment Crystal Monument.
It also has an evolution worth pursuing. Rusted Spear can develop into Jigeki's Serpent Thrust, which gains a charged attack capable of applying poison and briefly stunning enemies.
For early-game survival, I'd prioritize learning the spear's retreating attack rather than immediately replacing it with a weapon that only offers higher Power.
Queen's Domain Weapons and Locations
Most weapons are found in chests, discovered around the island, purchased from the merchant, or obtained through weapon evolution.
The table below lists 25 identified melee-weapon entries, including evolved forms. Queen's Domain contains more weapons than those currently documented here, so this is a reference for confirmed equipment rather than a complete collection checklist.
| Weapon | Damage Type | Location or Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Azure Torch | Azure Flame | Gargoyle statue at the Tower of Knowledge entrance. |
| Blood Moon | Impact | Chest in Deimpo Mausoleum. |

| Wooden Club | Impact | Chest in the underground dungeon on the Isle of Neasied. |
Which Weapons Should You Look for First?
Early on, I'd prioritize the Rusted Spear, Wooden Club, and Holy Sword Endu.
The Rusted Spear gives you a useful defensive attack, the Wooden Club adds Impact damage to your available weapons, and Endu unlocks much more of the island through Wind Dash.
Once you've gained access to Umbada's Trading Outpost, Spiked Buckler and Diamond Blade are attractive purchases for defensive and offensive playstyles, respectively.
If you're struggling with combat before reaching these upgrades, our Queen's Domain Tips Guide covers early equipment, stamina management, saving, and important exploration mechanics.
Queen's Domain Throwing Weapons and Locations
Throwing weapons provide ranged attacks without occupying your main melee weapon slots. You can equip up to three different types, and their charges replenish over time.
Different throwing weapons are useful for different targets, so I'd choose a combination rather than relying exclusively on the highest Power rating.
| Throwing Weapon | Special Benefit | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Throwing Dagger | Fast, reliable ranged attack. Can later receive an Acid enhancement. | Dagger Belt along the early coastal route. |
| Chakram | Returns like a boomerang. | Chest outside Obmuer Temple. |
| Piercing Needle | Can penetrate multiple targets. | Chest after the Sacred Cistern in Obmuer Temple. |
| Occult Knife | Homing projectile. | Chest in the Tower of Knowledge. |
| Throwing Axe | High Power with Slash and Impact damage. | Chest in Deimpo Mausoleum. |
What's the Best Throwing Weapon?
I'd recommend Occult Knife for its homing ability, particularly against enemies that are difficult to hit consistently.
However, Throwing Daggers are extremely useful early on because they can eliminate stationary threats such as Forest Eyes without requiring you to approach them.
Piercing Needle is more specialized, with its ability to hit multiple targets making it particularly useful when enemies are lined up.
When you discover a new throwing weapon, check the merchant's stock. Additional charges may become available for purchase, allowing you to increase how many attacks you can use before waiting for them to recharge.
How to Level Up and Evolve Weapons in Queen's Domain
Weapons improve through use. Successfully attacking enemies contributes to weapon experience, allowing them to gain levels and become more effective.
Each weapon level provides an additional 3% damage bonus, up to a maximum bonus of 30%.
Many weapons also evolve when they reach Level 10, although evolution isn't available for every weapon.
Which Weapons Can Evolve?
Two confirmed examples are Rusted Spear and Holy Sword Endu.
| Original Weapon | Evolved Weapon | Improvement |
|---|---|---|
| Rusted Spear | Jigeki's Serpent Thrust | Gains a charged poison strike capable of briefly stunning enemies. |
| Holy Sword Endu | Soul Bound Endu | Improved weapon form while retaining Wind Dash utility. |
If a weapon displays MAX as its level, it has reached its available progression limit and cannot continue evolving.
Which Weapons Are Worth Leveling Up?
I'd prioritize a weapon you can consistently use during real encounters instead of choosing one only because it has a higher starting Power value.
Rusted Spear is a particularly appealing early investment because it combines useful defensive movement with a confirmed evolution.
Holy Sword Endu is another important choice because you'll continue using its traversal ability as you explore new areas.
For regular combat, Spiked Buckler and Diamond Blade are worth considering if their defensive or heavy-hitting styles suit you.
The biggest mistake is expecting a fast weapon to automatically outperform a slower one. Your Power Meter affects damage, so rapidly attacking with little power remaining can substantially reduce the benefit of having a faster moveset.
Best Three-Weapon Loadouts in Queen's Domain
Queen's Domain lets you equip three melee weapons simultaneously. Rather than choosing three weapons with similar attacks, I'd use those slots to cover different situations.
Best Early Game Loadout
- Rusted Short Sword for Slash damage.
- Rusted Spear for Pierce damage and defensive movement.
- Wooden Club for Impact damage.
This combination gives you access to all three primary physical damage types before you've acquired more specialized weapons.
The Rusted Spear would be my primary choice for general encounters, with the other two weapons available when an enemy's resistances make them more useful.
Best Exploration Loadout
- Holy Sword Endu or Soul Bound Endu for Slash damage and progression.
- Azure Torch for magical attacks, lighting, and environmental interactions.
- Spiked Buckler for Impact, Pierce, and parrying.
This is my preferred general-purpose combination among the identified weapons.
It provides a broad selection of damage types, a reliable defensive ability, and useful exploration tools.
Azure Torch is especially convenient in this setup because its fireball charges replenish while another weapon is active.
Best Loadout for Difficult Melee Fights
- Spiked Buckler for parries and counterattacks.
- Vampiric Scimitar for health recovery.
- Diamond Blade for high-damage openings.
This setup prioritizes surviving dangerous attacks while maintaining strong offensive options.
Spiked Buckler helps defend against incoming strikes, Vampiric Scimitar provides life-stealing normal attacks, and Diamond Blade delivers stronger individual hits when an enemy leaves itself exposed.
I'd favor this combination when the main challenge is surviving an aggressive opponent rather than navigating the surrounding environment.
Why Rechargeable Weapons Deserve a Slot
One detail worth considering is how special abilities regain their charges.
Weapons such as Azure Torch, Melting Moon, Occult Warhammer, and Skull Rod have abilities that recharge over time while equipped. Others, including Grave Reaper and Occult Spear, build charges by dealing damage.
That distinction affects how you should use them.
A weapon that recharges passively can serve as a secondary tool. You can continue fighting with your favorite melee weapon, then switch when its special attack is ready.
A weapon that builds charges through successful attacks needs more active combat time to make repeated use of its special ability.
For that reason, I'd consider how a weapon generates its special attacks before deciding whether it belongs in your primary or secondary slot.
Ultimately, my recommended Queen's Domain weapons are Holy Sword Endu for progression, Azure Torch for exploration, Spiked Buckler for defense, and Rusted Spear for the early game. The best three-weapon setup combines useful abilities and different damage types rather than relying on raw Power alone.
