GamerBlurb Review Team
GamerBlurb reviews are based on real time spent playing.
Every review comes from at least 10 hours of gameplay. That time is used to learn the systems, test how the game holds up past the opening stretch, and see where things improve or start to fall apart. The goal is to show how a game actually feels once you are past the first few hours.
Reviews focus on what really matters while playing a game:
how the core gameplay loop holds up over time
which systems genuinely impact the experience
where the game works and where it starts to break
The approach stays simpl; Keep it direct, keep it honest, and skip filler. If a game is worth your time, it gets recommended. If it has issues, those are called out clearly.
Every review follows the same idea, real time played, real take.
We are also in the process of bringing in additional reviewers to expand coverage, while keeping the same standard across everything published.

Meet the GamerBlurb Review Team
Andrew B. is the lead reviewer at GamerBlurb and sets the standard for how reviews are written on the site.
His reviews focus on playing through the systems long enough to understand how they function. That means testing progression, seeing how mechanics evolve, and paying attention to where things improve or fall apart after a few hours.
The goal is always the same: Give a clear, honest read on whether a game is worth your time once you are actually in it, not just during the opening moments.
Every review under Andrew follows that same approach, grounded in real playtime and straightforward feedback.
