Avowed XP Farm and Leveling Guide

XP in Avowed is tricky to come by, requiring you to complete a lot of side content to level up efficiently. This guide covers the best ways to farm XP, tips for leveling up quickly, and the XP needed to hit max level.
How to Farm XP
Enemy Respawn Farm in Naku Kubel
During the main quest Shadows of the Past, you will have a choice: destroy the temple of Naku Kubel or Sever the Adra. If you choose to sever the Adra, you can return to Naku Kubel in Shatterscarp later, where enemies inside the temple will respawn infinitely.
This is technically the only way to "farm" XP in the game. However, it’s not efficient. The amount of XP you gain is small, and once you hit Level 25+, leveling up this way takes a long time.
How to Get XP Fast
Do Side Quests Right Away
Side quests provide great XP rewards, and some can become unavailable if you progress too far in the Main Quest. Try to complete them as soon as possible, especially in Shatterscarp and Galawain’s Tusks, since late-game quests offer the most XP.
Complete Optional Content in Every Region
Each region has Treasure Maps, Bounties, and Totem Fragments that provide XP when completed. Finishing these along with side quests will get you the most XP in each area.
Kill Every Enemy in a Region
Enemies in Avowed do not respawn (except for Naku Kubel). To maximize XP, clear out every enemy before moving on. This is especially useful in Galawain’s Tusks, where enemy encounters give 200–500 XP each.
Unlock New Areas on the Map
Simply exploring the map grants small XP rewards. While each reward is minor, fully revealing every region adds up over time.
How Much XP is Needed to Reach Max Level?
449,500 XP Required for Level 30 (Max Level)
The max level in Avowed is Level 30, which requires a total of 449,500 XP. Reaching this will unlock the Peak Performance achievement.
