If you pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and have access to the Lion’s Crest DLC, you can track down Brunswick’s legendary armor and weapons by following a good old-fashioned treasure hunt. This involves digging in suspicious locations, climbing over obstacles, and looting sacks left behind by treasure hunters who apparently never learned to finish what they started.
Before You Start
Before embarking on this scavenger hunt, you’ll need a few things:
Complete the prologue – The quest won’t be available until after.
Obtain a shovel – Buy one from the Troskowitz general store or grab a free one from Troskowitz cemetery. Because nothing says “heroic quest” like grave-robbing for tools.
Once you have both, it's time to follow the trail of bad hiding spots and questionable decision-making.
Step 1: Chapel in the Rocks
Travel to the top-right corner of the map.
Look for a small shrine with a cross on a rock. Someone thought this was a clever place to stash valuables. They were wrong.
Dig at the shrine to uncover:
Brunswick’s dagger
Brunswick’s gauntlets
The first treasure map (because, of course, there’s always another map).
Step 2: Wolf Hunting Spot
Head west of Chapel in the Rocks.
Find two trees near a rock face with a small sack on the ground—just lying there, as if dropped in a hurry by someone who heard a twig snap.
Open the sack to collect:
Brunswick’s chainmail coif
Brunswick’s plate leg armor
A piece of Brunswick’s horse armor (because even your horse deserves some luxury).
The next treasure map, because the hunt must continue.
Step 3: Shrine on a Rock
Travel north of Vidlak Pond.
Follow the path up the hill until you spot a cross on a rock. To reach it, you’ll need to cross a fallen log, which adds a nice touch of danger to an otherwise straightforward loot run.
Open the chest to claim:
Brunswick’s plate sleeves
A few extra items that may or may not be worth the weight in your inventory.
Step 4: Cross and Skeleton
Go north of Zhelejov into the mountains.
Look for a skeleton, sack, and cross under a large tree. This is where another poor soul stopped one step short of a full armor set.
Open the sack to find:
Brunswick’s Brigandine
A bit of food, as if that’s what the skeleton needed.
Step 5: Treasure Hunters' Camp
Head west of Zhelejov to the Treasure Hunters' Camp.
Spot a stone cross on top of a pile of rocks—a truly discreet hiding place.
Interact with the Cairn to grab:
Brunswick’s bascinet (helmet)
Completion of the Lion’s Crest DLC quest
Final Blurb
Find a shovel and get through the prologue.
Dig up Brunswick’s dagger and gauntlets at Chapel in the Rocks.
Loot a conveniently placed sack at the Wolf Hunting Spot.
Walk across a fallen log to reach a shrine because treasure needs drama.
Collect armor from a skeleton who didn't make it.
Finish at the Treasure Hunters’ Camp and claim the last piece.
By the end, you’ll have the full set of Brunswick’s armor and weapons. More importantly, you’ll have proven that medieval treasure hunters were terrible at both hiding and keeping their valuables.
