Prayer points in Old School RuneScape (OSRS) let you use powerful prayers for combat (and other special effects). When your points run out, you’ll need to restore them. Here’s a simple guide to get them back.

1. Pray at Altars (Most Basic)

  • What They Do: Altars fully restore your Prayer points.

  • Where to Find Them:

    • Most towns, like Lumbridge and Edgeville, have altars.

    • Special altars, like the PoH Gilded Altar, give extra benefits if used with lit burners.

2. Use Prayer Potions

  • What They Do: Prayer potions restore a percentage of your Prayer points based on your Prayer level.

  • When to Use: Use them during long fights or boss battles where you need to keep prayers active.

  • Where to Get Them: Buy them from the Grand Exchange or make them with Level 38 Herblore using a Ranarr potion (unf) and snape grass.

3. Use Super Restore Potions

  • What They Do: Super Restores restore Prayer points and any reduced stats (except Hitpoints).

  • When to Use: Use them if both your Prayer points and other stats are low.

  • Where to Get Them: Buy them at the Grand Exchange or make them with Level 63 Herblore using a Snapdragon potion (unf) and red spiders’ eggs.

4. Use the Ancient Mace Special Attack

  • What It Does: The Ancient Mace’s special attack restores Prayer points equal to the damage you deal.

  • When to Use It: Use it when you don’t have potions and need a quick Prayer boost.

5. Use Prayer Books

  • What They Do: God Books, like the Book of Balance, can restore Prayer points in specific situations.

  • When to Use: These are helpful during long activities like quests or skilling.

6. Rejuvenation Pool in POH

  • What It Does: A Rejuvenation Pool in your Player-Owned House restores Prayer points and other stats.

  • How to Build It: Requires Level 65 Construction and materials to add it to your house.

With altars, potions, or a Player-Owned House pool, you’ll always have a way to restore your Prayer points. Stay prepared to keep your prayers active and your character strong!
