Banished becomes available after completing Of Pearls and Portals and collecting all four Binding Stones. In this quest, you will confront Duwende, the Elven Lord who has cursed the land. Now, on to the quest guide:

Quest Objectives:

Meet Seriel at The Hazy Hag tavern in Brightoak.
Enter Duwende’s Valley in Bleakwood.
Confront and decide Duwende's fate.
Return to Seriel and Elara.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough:

1. Meet Seriel at The Hazy Hag Tavern in Brightoak

Location:
- After collecting all four Binding Stones, find Seriel inside The Hazy Hag tavern, located on the southeast side of Brightoak.
Interaction:
- Speak with Seriel, who will inform you that you are ready to venture into Duwende’s Valley to confront the Elven Lord.

2. Enter Duwende’s Valley in Bleakwood

Accessing the Valley:
- Travel to Bleakwood, located on the southwest side of the map.
- Fast travel to your campsite, Shadow’s Valley Camp, and head north to find the gate to Duwende’s Valley.
- Interact with the gate and place all four Binding Stones to lower it.
Proceeding to the Hall:
- Follow the path lined with skeletons until you reach the Hall door, where Duwende resides.

3. Confront and Decide Duwende's Fate

Interaction:
- Approach Duwende and press E to initiate a conversation.
- You can ask him a few questions and then choose between two dialogue options:
  - “I’ll let you live.”
  - “Time to die.”
- Note: Choosing “I’ll let you live” will restrict you from working with Seriel and Elara any further.
Battle (if chosen):
- If you choose “Time to die,” a battle with Duwende will commence.
- Battle Phases:
  - Fight Duwende until he disappears and summons waves of enemies.
  - First Wave: Spriggans and Cavewalkers.
  - Second Wave: Werewolf and Stiltlurker.
  - Ensure all summoned creatures are defeated; Duwende will reappear after each wave.
- Preparation:
  - Equip high-damage weapons and have ample healing items.
  - Be prepared for multiple waves of enemies.
Aftermath:
- Upon defeating Duwende, loot his body to collect his special armor set.

4. Return to Seriel and Elara

Location:
- After the confrontation, return to Seriel and Elara at their Foothills home, where you met Elara during A Voice From the North.
- Fast travel to your Foothills Campsite and head northwest to find their home.
Interaction:
- Speak with both Seriel and Elara to complete the quest.
- Reward: You will receive a reward from Seriel for assisting them.

Tips:

Preparation:
- Ensure you are well-equipped with weapons, armor, and healing items before confronting Duwende.
Combat Strategy:
- Focus on defeating summoned enemies quickly to prompt Duwende’s return.
- Be vigilant for enemies hiding in the outer corners of the cave.
Exploration:
- After the battle explore the area for extra loot.
