Silentium is a quest in Mirthwood that becomes available after opening the Mountain Shrine's portal. This quest involves exploring the monochromatic realm of Silentium to retrieve a Binding Stone, one of four needed for a larger objective.

Quest Objectives:

  1. Enter the Mountain Shrine's portal.

  2. Locate and collect the Binding Stone.

  3. Return to the Free Lands.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough:

1. Enter the Mountain Shrine's Portal

  • Accessing the Portal:

    • After offering the required items to the Mountain Shrine, a portal will appear.

    • Approach and interact with the portal to enter the realm of Silentium.

2. Locate and Collect the Binding Stone

  • Navigating Silentium:

    • The realm is a black-and-white maze-like environment with numerous spires.

    • Hostile creatures such as Cavewalkers, Hags, and rats inhabit this area.

  • Finding the Binding Stone:

    • Proceed to the southeastern area of the map.

    • Look for a lit candle; the Binding Stone is embedded in the ground nearby.

    • Approach and press E to collect it.

3. Return to the Free Lands

  • Exiting Silentium:

    • Retrace your steps to the portal entrance, located in the southwestern area of the map near a bedroll and campfire site.

    • Interact with the portal to return to the Free Lands.

Completion

Upon returning, the Silentium quest is completed. This Binding Stone is one of four; continue exploring other portals to gather the remaining stones.

    • Equip appropriate weapons and healing items before entering the portal.
