Path of Exile 2: How to Direct and Detonate Minions

In Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) minions, like the Skeletal Arsonist, have special abilities that allow them to detonate other minions and cause area-of-effect damage to enemies. To direct and command your minions to perform actions, follow these steps.

• Directing Minions

  • The default button on keyboard to command a minion is the tilde key “~”

• Assign the Command Skill:

  • Open your skill menu and locate the command skill associated with your minion's special ability.

  • Drag this command skill to your action bar to assign it to a specific key or button.

• Use the Command in Combat:

  • During battles, press the key or button you assigned to activate the command skill.

  • Your minions will execute the commanded action (e.g. detonating other minions to inflict damage on nearby enemies).
