R.E.P.O. Can You Have Multiple Saves?

If you were hoping to juggle multiple R.E.P.O. saves, maybe one for serious heists and another for goofing off and watching your friends get eaten, I’ve got bad news: you can’t, at least not natively… Yet. However, it does look like a new save system and menu is coming which you can read more about here.

Can You Have Multiple Saves in R.E.P.O.?

  • Nope. The game locks you into one save file at a time like a stubborn landlord refusing to give you a spare key.

  • If you start a new game, your old save gets deleted. Poof. Gone.

  • There’s no “load previous save” option, so every decision is final—for better or worse.

Workarounds (If You Really Want Multiple Saves)

If you’re determined to beat the system, you could:

  1. Manually back up your save file somewhere else on your PC before starting a new run.

  2. Use Steam Cloud Sync (if available) to restore an older save.

  3. Make peace with your decisions and move on.

Final Blurb

R.E.P.O. is a one-save-file kind of game, meaning every mistake is permanent, every loot haul is final, and every bad decision sticks with you. If you want a fresh start, you’ll have to wipe the slate clean and start over.
